  1. It seems pretty clear the hitters can't see a thing with these shadows. Both sides are taking pitches down the middle and making awful swings.
  2. People need to put some respect on Guillermo Martinez and Dave Hudgens. Teoscar has been raking since last season's second half, Gurriel continues to look like a legitimate above average big league hitter, Vladdy slowly but surely is getting his s*** together at the plate, Grichuk has been good even with his latest slump, Biggio has been a stud, Bo has done nothing but hit. I'm sure Dante is great and some have taken a liking to him but don't discount the work that Guillermo Martinez and the rest of the coaching staff have been doing to set a solid offensive foundation for a number of our core hitters.
  3. Come on Dolis, don't extend this. Induce a groundball right here so we can sleep in peace.
  4. At this point I don't even care if we bring out Yamaguchi. It's a large enough lead even with the phantom runner to begin the inning. Balk him home if you want.
  5. That was a god damn moonshot. I thought it was easily foul lol.
  6. Let's f***ing go Teoscar!!!! What a f***ing STUD.
  7. Montoyo is rock hard right now. Grichuk sacrificing himself without even needing to lay one down.
  8. Shaw literally cannot catch up to the fastball.
  9. I'm sick of watching McGuire at the plate. Kirk time please.
  10. Montoyo has just the right guy at the plate.
  11. Hatch has impeccable composure.
  12. God damnit. This would be such a squandered opportunity.
  13. That was one of the worst attempts I've seen. He really thought what he did was legal? Lol
  14. Not impressed. Until he shows me he can hit Chapman I won't be convinced he can catch up to the fastball.
  15. Great start Cavan, come on Grichuk. Needs to break out of his slump.
  16. No like, he literally had his two career years with the Brewers. He was just average on the Red Sox.
  17. This couldn't be further from the truth lol.
  18. You need to learn to not take every post at face value lol. Laika was obviously joking about Kirk being comparable to Juan Soto. He is an exciting hitting prospect, but the comparison to the likely best hitter of the current generation was pretty clearly tongue in cheek.
  19. In what universe was that a changeup? Is this the first time you're seeing Ryan Tepera?
  20. f***ing umpire again.
  21. We've been super aggressive against him which I understand given that the stuff is excellent and he pounds the strikezone, but the annoying part is how many times they don't even take a pitch in a low pitch count inning and of course giving away outs on the basepaths which could otherwise have increased his pitch count. Our baserunning mistakes are probably responsible for him throwing ~10-15+ fewer pitches.
  22. This Alfaro AB is guaranteeing that Ryu doesn't pitch in the 7th, and at this rate he might not come out for the 6th either.
  23. Attaboy Gurriel! That's a great way to make up for your earlier mistake. He's been excellent since he started heating up offensively.
