  1. Gurriel was all over that, just our luck.
  2. I'd give Dolis a 3 year extension just for getting us a clean, stress free 1-2-3 9th inning. My god am I glad for us to be out of this park.
  3. Their catcher got injured and their backup was the DH (Vazquez) so they had to forfeit the DH so that Vazquez can play the field. So any time that Plawecki's spot comes to the plate it's actually the pitcher's spot, so unless they want the pitcher to hit they need to pinch hit every time.
  4. Villar 4 times on base from the 2 spot. Charles knows exactly what he's doing when he's building the lineup card.
  5. Biggio gets disrespected by the umps with 2 strikes, what else is new.
  6. Panik with the timely professional hit. Come on Danny.
  7. Which guys are those?
  8. 4 hits, three homeruns all on the fastball.
  9. A f***ing no doubter to CF in Boston. Teo is unreal.
  10. "Chase looks very hittable today"
  11. Believe it or not, Villar has the fourth highest projected OBP among the starting lineup. So unless you want Vlad, Shaw or Panik leading off (the guys with higher projected OBPs), then Villar is actually the right choice. His career OBP is .327 and it was .339 last season in a much larger sample size than this year, unlike Panik and Shaw who have been awful for a couple of seasons in a row, so it's not actually that bad of a decision to have him lead off.
  12. They've been playing a shitload of games recently. Bunch of double headers and consecutive game days. Biggio in particular has played every game until now, and he's scuffling possibly as a result. It's fine to give them a maintenance day, I'm sure they'll be available to PH/PR if necessary.
  13. In terms of CF defense JBJ is up there with Kiermaier in terms of catching f***ing everything out there against us. Unreal play.
  14. We deserved that after Cavan got f***ed.
  15. The heart of the order look like minor leaguers against Godley and then Shaw, Panik and Jansen are all over him lol.
  16. Shaw needed that in the worst way. Brutal pitch obviously, his biggest issue is still catching up to velocity.
  17. It seems pretty clear the hitters can't see a thing with these shadows. Both sides are taking pitches down the middle and making awful swings.
  18. People need to put some respect on Guillermo Martinez and Dave Hudgens. Teoscar has been raking since last season's second half, Gurriel continues to look like a legitimate above average big league hitter, Vladdy slowly but surely is getting his s*** together at the plate, Grichuk has been good even with his latest slump, Biggio has been a stud, Bo has done nothing but hit. I'm sure Dante is great and some have taken a liking to him but don't discount the work that Guillermo Martinez and the rest of the coaching staff have been doing to set a solid offensive foundation for a number of our core hitters.
  19. Come on Dolis, don't extend this. Induce a groundball right here so we can sleep in peace.
  20. At this point I don't even care if we bring out Yamaguchi. It's a large enough lead even with the phantom runner to begin the inning. Balk him home if you want.
  21. That was a god damn moonshot. I thought it was easily foul lol.
  22. Let's f***ing go Teoscar!!!! What a f***ing STUD.
  23. Montoyo is rock hard right now. Grichuk sacrificing himself without even needing to lay one down.
  24. Shaw literally cannot catch up to the fastball.
