  1. A draft where he was the third overall pick to boot lmao.
  2. 22 innings of shutout offense when the Reds had the clear (allegedly) starting pitching advantage. The Central divisions are a joke.
  3. Luis Castillo's pitch tunneling is insane. The sinker and circle change are indistinguishable from one another and then he also has the nasty slider which starts along the same path and then breaks in the opposite direction. Disgusting pitch mix. Also helps that he'll run the sinker up to 98-99 with regular frequency.
  4. The Reds squander yet another bases loaded opportunity.
  5. By the time Rivelkin de Castro is in the cards for an MLB job (assuming he even gets that far) Vlad, Bo and Biggio will be in their 30s.
  6. It's entirely possible, maybe even very likely, that Jonathan Davis can't hit RHP at all. He's probably a solid 4th OF/PR option that you can maybe get away with platooning, no more than that. There's a reason why he's 28 years old and has 150 MLB PAs.
  7. Tellez is a big and slow guy who pulls the ball often and gets shifted. I don't think you can say he "only" had a .276 BABIP, if anything he probably hit well enough to sustain a BABIP in that range for a guy with his physical + hitting profile. David Ortiz, who was a hall of fame level hitter, had a career .300 BABIP with several good seasons in the .250 - .270 range and he was obviously significantly more skilled with the bat than Tellez is.
  8. Every other playoff pick of mine has been terrible so I'll continue to double down with A's.
  9. Silver lining, this is the best Nate Pearson has looked in the big leagues. Unhittable stuff that inning.
  10. Everything they hit finds a hole. It's just a nightmare playing in this park.
  11. The Reds just keep blowing it.
  12. Correa bomb and the Twins are now 9 outs away from elimination.
  13. It was a high fastball so it's not like the pitch was dropping into the strikezone like a breaking ball might. Awful call.
  14. Alex Rodriguez and Matt Vasgersian won't shut the f*** up about sacrifice bunting. They are by far the worst crew in the playoffs, just can't stop complaining about the modern game. That'll definitely bring new fans to the sport.
  15. It's pouring in Minny and the ump just tossed Eddie Rosario pitches after making a brutal call.
  16. I did not expect Bauer to be taken out before 110 pitches midway through the inning, especially with 2 outs. They're probably trying to save him for game 3 if it comes to that.
  17. It's not as easy as you might think it is to determine if a 100 mph fastball with great spin will end up exactly where you want it.
  18. The Reds have run themselves out of another inning.
  19. Seriously how did he get hurt on a routine slide back to first?
  20. Bieber continues to get crushed. Not really surprising why 5 out of the top Cy Young candidates - Bieber, Maeda, Burnes, Bauer, Darvish - come from the Central divisions. This is why deGrom deserves the Cy Young.
  21. Shane Bieber getting hit around by the Yankees. It must be nice facing the Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, Pittsburgh Pirates and Milwaukee Brewers offenses for the majority of your starts.
  22. This is a f***ing joke. Unbelievable.
  23. The Rays at Tropicana Field. The one true constant.
  24. This f***ing ******** park. ANOTHER LINE DRIVE RIGHT AT SOMEONE.
