  1. Like P2F said, Tatis doesn't qualify, but yes his defense has been horrendous. He made a million errors to start the season, I'm not sure if he's been better since but that'll ding your defense if you messed up a bunch of routine plays. It's a small sample though, Tatis will regress towards being average to just below.
  2. Looks like they/he changed his stance prior to the pitch, although his load once he gets into hitting position is identical to what it was before.
  3. Yarbrough is legit good, pretty dumn move on your part.
  4. Most of those guys are extremely young, three of them are pitchers including Pardinho who continues to come back from injury so seems par for the course to me.
  5. May have been a ball but damn that's a filthy front door slider.
  6. Excellent AB from Jazz, just gotta tip your cap there. Manoah threw a number of good pitches but he was covering them all.
  7. We finally get an easy opponent and it's an only for 2 games.
  8. The camera operator needs to know who's at the plate lol. Made it seem like it was a Stanton esque moonshot.
  9. Yeah you're gonna have a bad time throwing Teoscar a meatball like that.
  10. It's a slightly easier throw to make for the SS with his momentum moving him towards first. It's a routine play for either one to make though that's for sure.
  11. Bro take a walk one time lol. Even when he's hot the OBP is below the average.
  12. I don't think this is a thing at all. Why would that even be a rule? Runners get deked all the time on shallow line drives/pop ups which may or may not drop. Baez was totally within his rights to do what he did, it's like you said, the 1B should have taken a couple of steps back and finished the inning. I think the run only counted once Baez reached first however, because of the force play at first. So just a horrific defensive miscue by the entire Pirates defense.
  13. This is terrific from Baez but also in contention for the worst/most braindead play of all time from the first baseman.
  14. I mean this line is hilarious but it shouldn't be surprising to anyone that a guy with a .391 OBP is rated as a very good hitter. With that OBP you basically need to have a .200 SLG to be below average.
  15. Abolish the National League.
  16. This is kind of a minor thing since pulling your starter unexpectedly always sucks, but to me King is literally the worst possible guy you could put after Kluber. He has the exact same pitches, sinker, slider, cutter, occasional changeup, and the arm angle isn't that much different. Tampa would have went with a completely different sidearm lefty and we would be completely f***ed. This is just like facing Kluber for another round or two in the lineup, pretty bad management.
  17. Matz is basically saying f*** you, hit my fastball, bet you can't.
