  1. I mean it certainly didn't help him at all last year, if anything it was a detriment since he was chasing balls he had no business going after. He's just a legitimately athletic dude and losing all that excess weight made it show up, not to mention it's evident he's put in a ton of work defensively to get to where he's at right now.
  2. At this point the question has to be thrown out there. Vlad Jr. might be the best hitter the Blue Jays have ever had? He's going to be competing with our best offensive seasons ever as a 22 year old.
  3. Maybe whenever he stops pitching every 5-6 days? If you're going to play Ohtani in the field and limit his throwing it can pretty much only be at first base.
  4. This ******** ass stadium has taken away so many would be XBHs and HRs for us already.
  5. He's been slapping at so many pitches too, lost Stripling a bunch of potential strikes. Can't wait for Gruber to tell me that Danny Jansen can't frame the low pitch because he doesn't have a closed stance.
  6. Solid W, got some breaks going our way but we were bound to run into them eventually. Leadoff walks aside the pitching was pretty good.
  7. f*** yes Semien you stud. Probably had an easy out at second but won't hear me complaining with taking the sure one at first.
  8. Man the bullpen just can't stop walking hitters.
  9. He took a bat to the lower leg earlier in the game, I think he's just not moving well at all out there.
  10. He's still probably f***ed up from the ump tossing a bat at his knee/shin earlier.
  11. I'd say Jansen has good ABs, even draws his fair share of walks, his biggest problem is he goes on stretches where he's swinging a pool noodle at the plate.
  12. Lol the White Sox are tossing the ball around like a bunch of highschoolers.
  13. Great effort by Romano to work out the kinks mid inning.
  14. This is the meat of their lineup anyway so if he gets through Abreu without blowing it we're in a good spot going into the ninth.
  15. 4 pitch walk to Tim Anderson who swings at everything, FFS.
  16. Come on Romano buddy, we need some quality pitches here.
  17. You literally have no idea what you're talking about.
  18. I can't believe he swung at that and how huge of a break that was for us.
  19. Oh wow he completely missed the bag. Hopefully he's alright.
