    I think they like both players as guys who could make some adjustments and be decent hitters, so I think they probably carry both, unless they think they can get Tapia through waivers (and with his $4M salary it's possible...).

    Yes, you can. Biggio is a very solid 2B.

    Biggio is a positive fielder at 2B. He also has one of the best eyes in baseball, and has already hit for much more power than Espinal in their respective careers. Also, Biggio just did that.

    Yeah, it's opening day in the 500 level, obviously they were being drunken idiots, but like... It's one thing to be a drunken idiot, it's another thing to be so drunk that you don't realize you're going to have a bad time if you punch a f***ing cop

    Biggio has hit 1st or 2nd more than any other spots in the lineup, 126 and 120 wRC+ respectively.

    It's not like Espinal is sitting for Ryan Goins, Biggio is a solid MLB player.

    BJ Ryan also had a big promo video when he came out, it seems to be a closer thing.

    He's probably one of the best arms in the pen when healthy, so the consideration is more likely "can he go" rather than "should we use him".

    I can't fathom that there's a team giving Aaron Judge a $360M contract covering his age 30-40 seasons.

    Berrios being a recent example of a guy who was literally in tears when he was traded from the only org he'd ever known, and IMMEDIATELY seems to have fallen in love with his new team/city.
