  1. Way too few catcher interference calls. Guy won't make the show, or whatever. CIF 4 LYFE!
  2. I think if I was AA, I'd make a stupid good offer, with the "have to be able to negotiate an extension" and then just don't worry about the extension... And let it fail.... OH WE TRIED! But we couldn't get the extension... Too bad it all sucked.
  3. Reyes (3pts) - Melky (3pts) - Bautista (1pt) - Navarro (4pts) - Rasmus (2pts) - Deadpool Kawasaki (9pts) - Tolleson (8pts) - Johnson (6pts) - Reimold (7pts) - Gose (8pts) - Goins (9pts) - Bench (10pts) -
  4. Then Cherington can f*** himself gently in his ass... 2 Months of a starting pitcher is not worth much to me... Edit: Kershaw? Maybe... Lester isn't Kershaw...
  5. I would move Sanchez for Lester + a B prospect... Not straight up for 2 months of him.
  6. Nolin, Nay, Norris... I'd consider... It would be about the most I'd consider though... Sanchez + Hutchinson would be an absolute no. 2 Months of a top 10 pitcher (not Kershaw or Halladay in his prime pitcher) isn't worth a single sure thing asset, it's worth a few "could be good" assets.
  7. Reyes (3pts) - LetTheBallFly Melky (3pts) - Bautista (1pt) - bowld Navarro (4pts) - P2F Colby "f***IN" Rasmus (2pts) - Dylan, Spanky99, GD Kawasaki (9pts) - Gose (8pts) - Goins (9pts) -baseballssss,vdub Francisco (2pts) - Orgfiller, Deadpool Bench (10pts) -o2cui2i
  8. Dude, he's a writer... He's not trying to "make money", he's a guy that enjoys writing and has a talent for it.
  9. Yeah, and that's why I love Francisco, because despite being a... well, I think everyone can say a below average defender, he's still put up numbers that can impress.
  10. He "plays bass" for an awful band. That's enough of a punishment for him.
  11. Great arm, OKAY hands, below-average range. I love Francisco, I think he's a great bench piece for this team, but I'm trying to be realistic about his fielding there.
  12. I don't think Lester is a "definite World Series win" kind of player, and unless we're getting that sort of player, I'm not really willing to move Sanchez (who has an uncertain future, but even as only a reliever, would be a VERY solid reliever). Lester is a nice piece, but not for long enough of a term to surrender Sanchez.
  13. He's a really good writer. Like, even if he wrote fiction, it would be enjoyable... And he changes 90% of the names in his stories and doesn't shame anyone. There's nothing really wrong with what he does.
  14. I don't think I've ever seen a better picture... I might have to use this as an album cover.
  15. Well, this is a quote from the linked article... "In Toronto he can platoon with left-handed third baseman Juan Francisco and serve as a defensive upgrade." So this random KC Royals blog feels that he's an upgrade over Francisco defensively...
  16. Also, a really excellent catch that he turned into an unlikely double play.
  17. Probably better for the Jays if the Sox win, but I simply cannot force myself to cheer for the Sox.
  18. Just so angry that the Jays won. It must be horrible to hate the team that you ostensibly cheer for.
  19. Yeah, but now we have to move Muni to 3rd where he's inarguably much worse than Tolleson
  20. "You're only as good as your last at bat" - Tabler making less sense than usual.
