    Phillies announcers appear to have Morales confused with someone else, or possibly Morales from a few years ago "he can flat out hit!"

    If they're trying to draw fans and create an experience, why not capitalize on the craft beer craze. Hell, even something with Steamwhistle since the brewery is RIGHT THERE. I'd take almost anything over Bud/Bud Light, though.

    I'm with you on most of these, but I'd rather see more replay than less, I'm okay with the game being a bit longer if it means the calls are correct (replay still gets the calls wrong a shocking amount of the time, but that's an argument to fix it, not scrap it). I'm also fine with the length of the season as it is.

    When I was in China (Nanchang, small city by their standards, HUGE by ours) I was informed that it was available if I wanted it (I certainly did not), but I didn't see it on any menus.

    He's talking capitalism in a "laissez-faire, robber baron" kinda way, unfettered capitalism where the goal is for the 5 highest paid people at any company to make 10,000x more than the 6th highest paid person.

    While that's awesome news... a) the lineup for that ONE booth will be 4 hours long it will, undoubtedly, be Coors Light, which is beer in the same way that I am king of Norway.

    While I am in camp "trade Pillar", this is a really silly argument. The casuals LOVE Pillar, if there are people who buy tickets to see certain players (an idea of which I'm skeptical) more of them are going to pay to see Pillar than Alford. For every person like you who would pay to see the kids play, there are 10 who love Pillar and bring "SUPERMAN!" signs to the Dome for games.

    Okay, here's a bold idea... No more shortstop. 3 infielders, 3 outfielders, Pitcher Catcher and 2 DHs. Not remotely serious, but it would accomplish the goal of fewer routine plays.

    I mean, he's not the problem NOW, but a guy who just hit 30, and whose value is tied to defence and base-running with an ABYSMAL bat is going to be a problem in the near term.

    I think that's really the best possible configuration for 2019, but I don't see both Morales and Pillar gone at this point.

    This has been a good game all around, other than the Pompey injury. In my perfect world scenario, both Alford and Pompey are on the 25 man (and KP is traded for something intriguing).
