  1. Galvis on the bench the whole time would be an excellent use of his below average bat and above average glove. Rowdy is shite, and I'm fine with Smoak playing 120 games at 1B next year and the other people who need ABs just rotating through DH (and keeping Rowdy in AAA)
  2. Fisher for Biagini I'd have been okay with, the return is silly for both of them though.
  3. Who are Smoak and Galvis blocking? We don't have a 1B or util guy that's forcing their way onto the team.
  4. True, but we traded two semi-useful pieces.
  5. If Fisher (that's how Fangraphs spells it guys) is the return, I'm underwhelmed.
  6. God you have the coldest of hot takes.
  7. More pieces than Joe for no return? You don't say.
  8. He's having a pretty damn good season, xFIP and ERA both comfortably under 4, 9.0 K/9, 3/1 K/BB. I'd expect a better piece than we got for Hudson for sure.
  9. I love Bichette's glasses in the field.
  10. Bichette havin' a hell of a series.
  11. That's the first Bichette AB I've actually caught, so pretty good first one to watch!
  12. Dude can play some 3B for sure.
  13. You base this belief on...?
  14. Galvis hits a homer to give himself a last minute boost to his trade value...
  15. The correct thing to do is search their name and the word fangraphs
  16. We all have our day jobs and secret identities...
  17. Googling things is literally my job.
  18. I'm not interested in selling low on Sanchez.
  19. Ideally, Vladdy, Bichette and Biggio get enough time that the utility infielder is used rarely if ever. Just need a warm body there to fill in for a blow-out or two.
  20. I'm sure Urena can manage a passable Freddy Galvis impersonation ROS and maybe next year as a utility/bench guy.
  21. The greatest baseball player of all time > Shohei Ohtani Also The greatest baseball player of all time > Everyone else.
  22. Quarterbacks play far fewer games in a season than starting pitchers...
  23. If he hits 96 as a starter, I'm sure we could find a place for him in the pen at the very least.
