  1. Exactly they stay the course the course they were on they could have Synder Stro, Hendo (health depending) at the top of their rotation you can save money by adding 1 or 2 2nd tier starters and not always looking at big free agent starters (which generally come back to haunt teams down the road) to round things out and money can be spent elsewhere. Before the Mets and Marlins trade i thought AA was well on his way to developing a system like that of Cardinals, and Giants to an extent. I think it is the better way to run a club then Trying to be the yankees and dodgers and and spend as much money as you can and ignore developing your own players so you can trade them off for more big money guys.
  2. And 1 out of the 5 teams ahead of us made the playoffs. Not that i am using that as an excuse but you can build a damn good team for 130-140m dollars. I would rather it stay right there so we don't think we can throw big contracts a players and end up handcuffing ourselves.
  3. If us as fans are bitching about only having the 6th highest payroll in the league what does that say about us. If we can't field a competitive team with that kind of payroll maybe we shouldn't worry about Payroll and more about management. Which is one reason why I for 1 don't give 2 shits that AA is gone has he has been given a top 10 payroll for the last few years and only now after selling a lot of the farm was he able to get us into the play offs after over half of the season of mediocrity. Rogers was the least of our concerns in my eyes. A good GM should be able to take that Payroll and make a solid team out of it.
  4. Are you going to start spamming like you did last year?
  5. As Far as Lefties go their numbers a very very similar(Kazmir, Chen).... Leak is more of a ground ball pitcher and might be a better fit in the east and Cueto might be relatively cheap due to his performance later on in the year and possible wonky shoulder..... Maybe worth the risk depending on the going rate.
  6. Ya and he has the Jays picking up all three Cueto, Shark, and Chen..... Very very doubtful. I could see them MAYBE picking up 2
  7. If we plays i imagine it will be in Chi town
  8. I know i should have never got the Lyon Tamer 2015 DDL Champ Tattooed on my ass.
  9. What do you think Cesar Ramos goes for. Would me nice to have another Solid Lefty out of the Pen. When cecil went down that was a glaring hole.
  10. I really really want Kuma. He is a great fit for the stadium being a ground ball pitcher and a solid fielding team behind him.
  11. Estrada will be looking for a multi year deal this will be his last real shot to cash in

Ehlers going to show the leafs what this years ROY looks like
  13. Considering Price would likely have his choice between a handful of teams on where he wants to play you can't bank on him resigning
  14. That Stausberg guy can throw the ball pretty hard.... The Nats new Closer everyone lol
  15. Just like when a girl shoots you down: " I don't think she was that good looking any way and i bet she is a lesbian."
  16. Too bad the Maple Leafs aren't giving him a great distraction lol
  17. And in AA's press conference when he said that he was a baseball guy and wouldn't want a job dealing with operations and business aspects was all a cover to hide that he was hurt being passed up in the decision.
  18. Not to mention how ass backwards that dumpster fire of a organization is. Basically hiring a Manager before a GM. You would think that you would want a GM on board and help picking his manager then just throwing him in with a guy.... All the best to AA if this is the case because he will need it.
  19. For his sake i don't think i would want him to work for Loria
  20. Can you get a manager that is worse than Williams...... Well the Nats are sure going to f***ing try.
  21. I would of though differently considering the scrubs he has in his DDL farm
  22. If Francona wants to stay with Shapiro then i think he is gone faster then you can say boo
  23. Because this is the only thing they have seriously had to cheer about in the city besides to first round knockout of the Raps. This city was desperate for anything to be successful
