    Because Trout was not blessed with a team like Donaldson. MVP is the best player not who has the better team and makes the playoffs. Donaldson has Bau and EE hitting behind him... Trout has and aging Albert and nothing else. This is why You can't take a whose team made the playoff statement. If Trout wins and he has a very strong case then i don't see how anyone can be mad with the decision.

    With the scare involving Cain and Morales i wonder if Yost will ease up a bit going into this weekend. Would like to personally see Bautista, Donaldson both DH at some point this weekend just to give them another day out of the field but they can keep their bats in the lineup so they don't get rusty.

    How does the field look. Judging by tweets it could be a great thing regulars are out due to Joe West not calling for a tarp earlier and it being pretty s*****.

    I get what your saying and i am pretty sure our regulars are going to be playing in Tampa with exception with price which if he did pitch probably would only be going 5. Which if thats the case might as well just have him throw bullpens so he stays sharp. I just think that after a night of partying give the guys a day off to recoup and get ready for the final stretch drive. 2 days off in 3 days would do a lot for these guys.

    First if your only throwing Price for a few innings what is wrong with doing Bullpens like they are going to do with him. Less chance of him getting hurt and he gets his work. Secondly since August the regulars have basically got zero time off and considering we will still have the lead on KC for first in the AL with 3 games left and them having a hotter opponent. Its not like this is incredibly unorthodox move this late in the season we have been blessed with the ability to give our guys rest. Nothing wrong with taking it.
