    Actually look good in the 2nd and 3rd. Hard to evaluate pitchers in spring as they are generally working on specific pitches in each game like i feel Berrios last game threw 80% slurves it seemed.

    Don't know if your joking or not but less then ideal. He is not the defensive wizard he was back 4 years ago and i don't ever remember once thinking that his bat was ever league average.

    As i see it right now that if Springer goes Down Teo is in CF and that is very much less then Ideal.

    In the first 4 + weeks they have only 1 off day i am wondering with the short spring training if they will go to some hybrid 6 man rotation for the first month. It would ease guys into it and we can see who can stick.

    I don't know if he is playing a little then i can't see him dealing with an injury because that would just be stupid if he is not playing at all then i would have questions.

    I don't know if they wait till trade deadline and there are teams in the mix and bidding against each other i think they can do pretty well with him.

    I agree i think if we can find 1 more late inning RP i would be more comfortable..... I am scared for our pen i think it is ok (Mayza figured it out in the last half, Cimber is good, Romano took a big step last year, Garcia should be ok, Richards was decent, who knows what happens with Phelps). But one late inning pitcher would solidify things though

    Hoglund is the big hit here in my eyes, Smith is someone that i had a lot of curiosities about, he looks like he could be a good prospect but at 25 and always had lots of strikeouts in the minors it could go either way for him. They other 2 i don't know much about but to get talent you have to give up talent.

    I know people think we should have an all star at every position but that is not realistic. Chapman is in my eyes the perfect fit for us he will likely bat 5th or 6th in the lineup with an up tick in Walk rate and you would assume the numbers get better moving from Oakland to Toronto, we have a ground ball heavy rotation, he will take pressure off Bo who struggled with defense at times last year, he is making less then 10mil this year which leaves resources open. Ya he has a big red flag but also is only 29 and was hampered by that torn labrum in 2020 playing in the worst hitters ballpark in the league. Worst case you have a gold glove defender that will hit you 30HRs with a 3.5-4War and the reward he goes back to his 2019 self who was an MVP caliber player. Ya JRam would of been nice but unless your prepared to get rid of Moreno+++++ then it is not going to happen. Freeman would of been nice but then your likely risking not being able to sign both Vlad and Bo with the money you will have to pay him. I like it.

    If Sale sees the Right Handed heavy lineup he might think twice about coming up north lol

    Got a feeling Martinez is gone. They should want 1 of him or Moreno and I’m guessing Moreno is untouchable

    No but a shoot out is what i compare the ghost runner to. I hate that a hockey game is decided by a skills competition but it gets you a winner.
