No after last year i had to realistically look and know that my current roster could not make a run at much. Best possible scenario battling for 8th. Made a decision to retool and see what happens in 2-3. Sucks to be a realist sometimes. However i do like my rotation right now with Grey, Stroman, Wacha (comes back to where he was before injury),Lohse.... Might steal me a few wins.

I bet there is only a handful of teams in the CHL that Rake in money. So what if the WHL says fine we will pay you salary that is equivalent to what other 16-18 year olds are making but we won't pay room and board, Travel expenses, equipment expenses, educational assistance help that each team has, and so on and oh we will scrap the scholarship program. I think players have it damn easy in this league and some people are just looking at the Knights and saying ohhh we can clean up here.

The thing the league not only has a scholarship program in place (1 year of schooling for each year in the league) which is a pretty good deal because a lot of these players are not going to be playing pro hockey. They also pay for all their meals, housing, travel home at the holidays, equipment, and much more. I know a family whose kid plays for Red Deer and they said they they saved about 10-15 thousand bucks having his kid make the WHL compared to AAA hockey. I just think that just looking at the WHL for example if you have teams being forced to pay bigger salaries you are going to cripple a lot of small market teams (Lethbridge, Prince Albert, Prince George, Swift Current, Brandon,). This is not good for the league as a whole.

Just a heads up i have been getting some offers on Votto. Not saying for sure that i am selling him but there have been some very intriguing offers. Now the next 2 months are going to be very busy for me with my wedding on the 25th and the honeymoon and such in November and work mixed in. Best way to get a hold of me would be to message me on proboards then it comes right to my phone. I rarely notice PM on this board.

I don't think so i would imagine they over pay Morrow to be down there however but i think it is a great place for Morrow.
