  1. Considering that these are basically rankings leftover from last yr. There will be a massive adjustment a few months into the MiLB seasons, will be interesting to see the rankings then.
  2. Yes he was, he also would round a base after a hit and would just go far enough and stop to get a throw behind him then he would dart onto the next base. Seen him do this numerous times, Paul Molitor also did this with the Twins and Jays. I really enjoy aggressive base runners who has the intuition when to take chance and not to.
  3. One of my most enjoyable yr of watching baseball was the season of the Go-Go Expos when they had Leflore, Dawson and my fav player to watch on the bases Rodney Scott. Bring this new rule on, I'm sure the rule will be massaged to get it right. Will this cause some teams to even change what type of hitters in their lineups?
  4. Can't believe that about White, why steal on him when the odds are better with getting 3 hits in a row against him. 😉
  5. Pettitte has the NYY coefficient of 1.5 for HoF votes. Would he be in the discussion if he played for ummmm Minnesota? Maybe but not as widely discussed. Granted, I could just be showing my Yankee hate!
  6. YES to Stieb! Honestly playing for either Boston or the Yankees is good for 60++ additional votes that other players for other teams wouldnt get!
  7. Maybe Im biased but I suspect it would be the Jays. Without looking it up he probably played here the longest by about 4 or 5 yrs.
  8. Absolutely.....now lets get Delgado into the HoF
  9. Torii Hunter is being totally disrespected.
  10. not so much the stadium but winning makes it fun!
  11. Honestly...they probably shopped this to various breweries and Corono stepped up with the most $$. No brand is ever shown without $$$ being handed over.
  12. wonder what the sitelines will be for those fans there if they can see most of the outfield close to the fence....especially with the higher fence now also.
  13. Angie Schimdt? Or does the player need to be a MLB level bust?
  14. Jose Pett....should have traded him for Sidd Finch when we could haved.
  15. This trade won't be evaluated equally. The Dbacks at this point gets evaluated by cross-referencing the players stats. While the Jays gets graded by hopefully playoff success.
  16. The measuring stick for who wins this trade is different for each team. The Jays won't be using the individual stats to decide who won this trade. They will be using the playoffs.
  17. Less runs allowed also means the SPs can go deeper into games and not using the pen late in the 4th and 5th not nearly as often.
  18. Didn't work out well for the Tigers and Denny McLean after his suspension. Mind you McLean didn't take care of himself back then......not sure if thats even close to a fair comparison.
  19. It will be interesting who'll step up and sign him? I know it won't be the Jays. Which team do you think will sign him? Seems like someone Cohen will sign for the Mets. I suspect Bauer will be sitting out for a while this season before a team cringes and sign him.
  20. Agreed....Ryu is near the end of the line and I would like to roll the dice on Kooch to see if he gets corrected.
  21. Amazing how a player can go from an #%^hole to being loved at the turn of a FA signing!
  22. That is why I always enjoyed his posts, doesnt matter if double posts. Not everything here needs to be sole property of this message board.
  23. Thank you Paul Harvey 😀
  24. OMG....Zimmer gone???... 😀 Signing KK will automatically add 5 wins to the Jays since he seemed to single handily beat the Jays 5x a season.
