  1. Woudn't Parra help their defense?
  2. Geez dude. No need to pout. There are limitations to using organizational rankings as a measure of talent. It's nice that you tried to use a measure but you should acknowledge the limitations of that measure. That's all anyone was saying and it was done respectfully.
  3. Yeah I'm very bearish on Alford and quite bullish on Phillips.
  4. Hard to imagine it not costing Stroman at this point. Can't really see it making sense for both teams otherwise.
  5. I'd much rather have Phillips.
  6. Holding Pompey back in case of injury is the smarter play (as long as Parra isn't over-priced of course).
  7. Thanks for bringing my attention to my illegal roster.
  8. I also hate Travis not hitting the DL. Get him right.
  9. Hey Nats! We'll let him close if you flip him to us.
  10. Samardzija is a guy who hasn't been on very many good teams. I could see him be willing to sacrifice individual stats to play for a team with a powerhouse lineup. Jays are rumoured to like him a lot too. That seems like the best fit. A playoff run this year would definitely help.
  11. K-Rod is a fit and I don't even want to imagine what it would take to pry Chapman. An even better fit than K-Rod would be some combination of K-Rod, Fiers and Gomez.
  12. LF isn't even that bad if they call up Pompey but a veteran option and Pompey as MiLB depth would be better. Surely there's an expiring contract they can pick up at no great expense.
  13. He might just be being difficult but I think he's right regardless. Jays should have never taken their foot off the pedal in the first place. When you go all in, you shouldn't look back.
  14. Now you're talking. Half measures have been killng this team.
  15. Yeah at least this team finally has a DIRECTION. They started to go all in with the Marlins and Mets deal and then they herped derped around for a whole other season before finally continuing the push. This is definitely better than that.
  16. The best part of this tweet is that Price was still with the Rays when he posted that.
  17. Clearly I wasted no time forgetting all about him.
  18. That's a good way of looking at it. Jays gave up less to get more. Pretty good peformance in a seller's market.
  19. Quite possible. I guess the bright side is that at least there will be no more talk of the streak.
  20. If you go by prospect rankings, only one of the three best prospects (Pompey, Norris, Alford) has been traded and Tulo and Price have been acquired. That's pretty impressive. I would have preffered to pay less for Price but I would have willingly paid more for Tulo so I guess I'm pretty happy with the net result.
  21. Nah. He's just the guy in the Bobcat commercial.
  22. I don't love it. I'm dissapointed that AA couldn't find some a more creative way of adding pitching than the two month rental route. The price wasn't too steep on paper but Boyd and Norris will be missed when it comes time to put together the rotation for 2016 and beyond. Trade is maybe just acceptable in my book.
