I really, really wanted Lindor. I was pretty happy with Springer at the time but I just felt like Lindor was the perfect target and the perfect fit here.
Oh well, at least we got the guy who was traded for Lindor...
Yeah, JRam really is still a perfect fit if we can finally get him. Him and Bellinger would be nice.

I'm good with the rotation depth right now but we'd probably have to sign some shitballer to battle for the #5/6 spot, as I assume at least one of Manoah or Tiedemann would be Cleveland bound in this scenario.
And I'm on board with Hader for the pen.
I don't know if he's good or not. But he's in house and he cut his teeth with one of the most successful organizations in the sport. It seems likely he'd learn a thing or two.
What I do know (or strongly suspect based on what we have seen) is that Atkins is NOT the answer.
And I don't care what his position is with us, at the end of the day, his voice is not the one that matters.
We don't know how he'd fare until he is given full autonomy.
So Click is (allegedly) being considered for the Red Sox job. Another promising baseball mind from a cutting edge organization we passed up on just to wait for Ross Blame-the-coach-because-I-have-no-clue-what-my-team-is-doing Atkins to bring us to the promised land.

I really enjoyed Boston as well. I will say though that while I was at Fenway, there was an obviously Amish father and daughter sitting beside us who had somehow won tickets to the game. It was their first ever baseball game and it was pretty clear they didn't really understand many of the rules. A couple of dicks behind us were chirping them so bad that they had to leave in like the third inning. That said, I'm also not naive enough to believe that this behaviour couldn't have happened at any ballpark at any time.
