Ryan Goins would be a decent backup. He won't really hit well but his defense is good. He's Manny Lee.
-
If Goins gets injured during a game Russel Martin might get his wish of playing shortstop.
-
Our lack of outfield depth makes me shake my head.
-
I've been impressed with Travis not just with the bat but in the field too. He seems to have pretty good range at 2nd.
-
And we won a game where we were losing!!! -
I want the Jays to go on a magical run like they did during a month last year.

Dodgers acquire Matt West for cash

The only thing I can think is that both of those guys can go multiple innings. Granted they will most likely get rocked, but they can do it. No Matt West Wig Nights in Toronto -
Is Thon anything more than org filler at this point?
-
He has the number for Randy Wolf?
-
Sanchez would walk 3.
-
It should be easy to get AAAA pitchers. We did, and that's why everyone is complaining about pitching.
-
Decent when it's healthy. Past few games we had DV and Goins out there.
-
love the herpie.
-
Hopefully a BTS gameday will start a winning streak. edit: for the Jays, not Rays
-
Maybe the brass told him that he wasn't in their plans going forward and isn't really interested in continuing his career so he'll take the money on the DL.
-
Maybe Norris down to work on his control? Estrada to the rotation, and Albers to bitchwork role.
-
It has to be a pitcher. If it was Pompey because of performance our outfield is even more depleted with Bats not being 100%. The last few games we had DV and Goins in the outfield. If it was Travis to DL you would think Muni would be up.
-
JA Happ is doing well this year so far.
-
I would think it's either Castro or Norris. I would think if it was Travis they would call up a position player. Although that hasn't stopped them before.
-
Diaz looks so unhappy in that gif haha. As if Lawrie thought that it would be funny do to do that and pressured him into doing it.
-
Neither. Pillar can hit the ball but his OBP is nearly identical to his average because he can't take a walk. Also, Blue Jays buntzzz. Whaaa?
-
Think Norris goes out for the 4th?
-
There seems to be a problem with our starters throwing strikes.
-
Anyone think that Pompey stole because Porcello seems to be throwing a lot of balls down and in the dirt? Maybe hoping for a passed balled?
