  1. Man this is tough to watch. Would be nice if Vladdy could show up soon. Jays can still win this game and the Yanks can still lose. And if neither happen, f*** it, Jays win tomorrow and Yanks lose. The Jays win the last game of the season and the Yanks lose it. Max anxiety mode for us, but we'll get drunk on Yankees tears and we'll all laugh ourselves horse
  2. If the Sox and Orioles can each avoid getting swept I think the Jays will win the division. Otherwise it feels like a stretch. 3-2 is doable but just feeeeels unlikely given what we've seen for the last week or so.
  3. It sucks to have to rely on so much luck when the team has been so good this year up to this point. Feels like we'll need the Yanks to lose a few games, ugh
  4. My daughter is pumped for every game lol. She just turned 2 and always asks me to put baseball on. She yells blue jays! And commercial break!
  5. What's a yesterday? Let's win some games and take this out of the Yankees hands
  6. I will never forgive Max for making me spend and entire game rooting so hard for the Orioles lol
  7. I would think we see a celebration, champagne and all, if they make the playoffs. It's easy for us to say they shouldn't celebrate "just" making the playoffs. We watch for many baseball careers worth of time. But for some of these guys it's their first and potentially only playoffs they'll see. They deserve to celebrate
  8. Beisbol magic. A new kid debuts like a stud, our pen slams the door on our nemesis, our closest rival gets blown out . Amazing that a day of games which started so nervy ends in such elation. This is why we watch, folks. And the peasants rejoice
  9. Hopefully Baltimore can get their s*** together and play the Yankees tough. Would anyone be surprised if the Yankees swept the Twins and ChiSox? It might be more surprising if they didn't. Lol
  10. Yesssss Red Sox crushing LFG!
  11. I think if the team was still rolling and looking great it would be pretty slim odds. But with the way things have been going with the pen, I'll say better than 50%. There is gonna be a ton of unfair pressure on this kid.
  12. Jays coaches and trainers all dressed as the Scarlet Spider
  13. Over/under 15.5 on Jays wins for the rest if the season? I say over, but barely, like 16-17 games. How many wins do you think will it take to win the division? I think 93 gets it done for sure, maybe 92.
  14. Man, if this were the week before the playoffs, I'd be in shambles. But we've all watched enough ball to know it's a game of swings, good and bad. It's looks bad right now but there's plenty if time for us to crater while the Sox surge and take off again while they crater. And even if they don't really falter, we can be back to playing well in time to kick ass in the playoffs. I want a first round bye as much as the next guy but we gotta beat the good teams one way or another, f*** it. Win the division, or finally win the first round, step on some necks, then treat the Dodgers, or Brewers I guess, like the f***ing Rockies. End rant.
  15. Maybe this pushes Manoah into trade piece territory? If you're gonna give meaningful innings to a guy coming off a major arm injury, you'd rather it be the Biebs than Manoah. Also helps avoid the headache of Manoah being ready to go and making a stink when we don't really give him the big innings he wants. I don't trust Manoah, even when he's healthy, really. The team might not either. Idk
  16. Gahd dang this was a satisfying series. Holy s***. Beisbol magic
  17. That got out in a hurry. Watching Barger crush baseballs is very satisfying. I'd love to see him smash a golf ball
  18. Like he's a polite yet sad, underachiever, whom nobody respects?
