Delabar may have taken a step back this year but Loup has taken a big one forward and McGowan has done well so far in the pen so all in all it's good news for the jays.
Is it batspeed or the fact that he is waggling the bat when the pitch in on the way that makes him late...I thought they were working on making him quiet at the plate..may be they gave up..

Fact is that he hasn't shown that he can walk and limit the strikeouts.
Unless he does he will always be a 4th outfielder/pinch runner etc.
Going in to this season there were so many holes in this lineup that they had no chance to contend..they are now finding their true level....this is a 75 win team at best.
Of course reyes is better....but the fear is that he may never be the player they thought they were getting...but then again neither were Johnson,Dickey,Boni... etc etc etc... etc..
