    He's a great catcher,no question about that. But when he's beat up, like he is now, he really isn't much of an offensive threat....Of course, he hit the homer yesterday and that's great, but he usually strikes out or hits into double plays. Having said that, He has to be in the lineup whether he hits or not.....my problem is having Smoak bat fifth instead of Colabello.....the guy can't hit any breaking ball and why they ever give him a fast ball over the plate is a mystery to me.

    Sanchez is fine when used properly...Gibbons,on the other hand, ugh!

    The injuries to EE and Tulo have seemed to drain the enthusiasm out of this team...hope they get it together soon ...and Sanchez has never done well in second inning?

    Well, he isn't healthy. My question is whether Martin's defensive prowess is a plus considering his total inability to do anything with the bat.. Is Navarro that bad defensively that he's worth less?

    I'm starting to worry about this offense producing under pressure lately..especially with EE seeming to go cold after that hot august...or maybe it's the pessimist in me.

    How can I prove it when he isn't batting leadoff...if he ever does then chart the pitches and find out if I'm right or not..

    Revere is a good hitter and on base can create havoc, and although Donaldson doesn't seem to need much help, he would see more fastballs with revere on base. And any other manager in baseball would have tulo as a middle of the order guy..

    I've been saying revere leading off and tulo 5th but Gibbons just won't adjust......

    Both he and Tulo have struggled since they came over but yes, I would have him leading off, at least until Travis comes back..

    I don't have a problem with Schultz coming in at all....but I do have a problem with martin batting 5th....right now he's an automatic out....and the whole lineup drives me nuts. Middle of the order RBI guy leading off.... ..base stealer with similar numbers to reyes, batting 9th and no stolen bases as a result....looks like somebody just threw stuff against a wall..

    He is a middle of the order run producer.....that's where he should be....

    This game may have come down to batting smoak fifth...the question is..who should have been there? Martin isn't hitting anything lately either. so who?Colabello?
