    Estrada is a finesse pitcher who relies on pin point control and timing.. The last thing you want to do with him is change his routine by giving him an extra day off between starts.. This is mickey mouse management..

    A back up should at least be able to pinch hit off the bench and at least sometimes contribute. The only times Smoak can make contact is if for some unexplainable reason they don't throw him a breaking ball... The guy has no value.....

    Tulo should be hitting 5th...but that's Gibbons for you..

    Alomar won 2 world series and came thru with THE homerun in 92....and hit in the clutch throughout..as well as being one of the greatest fielders at second base ever...incredible range... Donaldson is great but until he does it in the playoffs, I rank Alomar first...

    I'm happy with any move that gets Smoak out of the lineup......terrible hitter who only make contact if they are dumb enough to throw him fastballs.. But...is Upton any better?

    Depends on the payroll parameters.. Right now it looks like if he's cheap he will be back imo.

    Unless Colabello comes back and can contribute.....but they have to replace Smoak

    Tulo will take about a month to get comfortable at the plate and start hitting....and then will get hurt..

    If I'm running the orioles I walk EE every time and take my chances with the rest of them.....( Donaldson hits before EE so of course I don't mean him..)

    Using Osuna in a tie game when he needs rest is ridiculous.......even with a lead he probably shouldn't be used......this kind of managing is going to kill any chance they had to compete..

    They can't sustain a rally with those 2 guys hitting back to back......but they keep trying...

    Martin and Smoak batting 4 and 5 pretty much guarantees no sustained rallies..

    The Miami trade brought us a pitcher ( Johnson) who was well regarded...another ( Buehrle) who was a veteran innings eater...and a star (reyes)... Unfortunately, only Buerhrle came as advertised.. The Tulo trade brought us a franchise type player...but he just seemingly got old much faster than expected.. The Dickey trade was a disaster from the day it was announced.... a 38 year old knuckleballer for their top catching prospect and a young pitcher everyone expected to be a stud.. But

    They will have to do something.....change the manager and batting coach just to get different voices....there is nothing else they can do and it couldn't make it any worse..
