    This season combined stats from Bluefield and Vancouver. 34 IP 6 Er 16 BB 53 k .107 Ave .82 whip Pretty impressive numbers. Does anyone have a scouting report on him? Would like to know how he rates out on pitches.

    I was at the game today and was concerned initially. He gave up 2 loud outs deep to centre that were run down by Davis and the HR and single in the first 3 innings while consistently falling behind in the count. He also had no strikeouts thru 3 but righted the ship and ended up going 6 innings with 7 K's and only giving up the 2 hits. His velocity went up as the game progressed and was sitting 98/99 in the last few innings. I guess my expectations were a little high for him after watching Nate plow thru batters in Dunedin.

    Anyone else going to the Bisons game to watch Pearson today? Come and say hello. I'll be wearing a Dunedin Jays shirt and usually sit in the second level on the 3rd base side.

    Looks like the Jays gave away Sanchez et all. Fisher looks no better than McKinney.

    He's probably better than Fisher. Jays traded Sanchez, Biagini and Stephenson for another Socrates Brito.

    I was also at the game yesterday but parked on the street, so didn't see the junkies. I have seen Pearson a few times and this was not one of his better games, even tho he was perfect thru 3. His off speed pitches were high most of the time and he didn't hit 100 after the second inning. Warmoth looks lost at the plate and Spannberger pulled a Fisher but at least it didn't hit him in the face. Still worth the 2 hr drive.

    And Fisher catches a fly ball with his face. Is he that much of an improvement over McKinney, Alford as a 4th outfielder? I like some of the moves that Atkins has made but this trade may rank right up there with the Dickey trade.

    Play against Lakeland at Jack Russell on the 18th and 19th and in Lakeland on the 20. following week in Daytona and Jupiter.

    Just got back from the game today. Quite a performance by Pearson....batters seemed completely overmatched. He hit 101 a couple of times and sat between 95 and 99, but it was his nasty slider that kept them guessing all game. Btw, the only hit was a blooper that fell in front of the center fielder.Talked to one of the Jays personnel and he said that Pearson won't be in Dunedin much longer.

    Was at the Dunedin Jays game tonight in Clearwater and ran into Charlie Wilson ( Director of player development ) and asked who might have a breakout season this year in Dunedin. He named a few that he was high on including Noda, Riley Adams, Pearson, (who will be starting Sunday) and believe it or not Warmoth. The player that impressed me the most tonight was Obeso, who squared up the ball all night. Does anyone know much about him?

    Was hoping to see him on Friday in Clearwater. Not much to see down here this year besides Pearson. Guess I'll have to hit the beach and the golf course instead.

    Was at the game yesterday. Biggio had quite a game..hit the ball hard every at bat and the home run was epic,off a lefty no less and a stolen base. Waguespack was very impressive, always around the plate with a 92-94 heater and a great slider that produced 8 K's. Will be in Dunedin on Sunday to catch a few games down there.

    That's why I'm looking forward to attending many games in Buffalo this year. I'll be able to see the likes of Rowdy, Bo, Biggio, Vladdy(for awhile) and possibly Pearson for the low,low price of $10 US. Plus I can have one of those delicious Sahlen hotdogs and a beer for under 10 bucks. Love the minor leagues.

    On the invitation it said only one but they had them wrapped in a warmer and were not checking how many you took, so I had a few...paid for it later.

    No. Lineup was too long...I already had a ball signed last spring by him in Dunedin... Did get T.J., Bo, Pearson and Merryweather.

    Good turnout to the prospects meet and greet tonight in Buffalo. Unexpected guests included Borucki, Tellez, SRF, Bichette, Reese, Zeuch, along with Vladdy, Kevin Smith, Biggio, Pearson, Perez, Yenzy Dias,and Merryweather. Quick notes from the event....Vladdy and Pearson looked like they've slimmed down, Tellez looked like he was really enjoying the occasion, Bo not so much. Merryweather and Smith were the most cordial along with being the most impressive looking athletes. Congrats to the Jays and Bisons for putting on such a fun event...Each ticket holder received a couple of Sahlen's hot dogs, soft drinks, chips, draw tickets and a ticket to the Bisons 2019 home opener for $10.
