    I would prefer Biggio at DH, Grichuk in Cf and Espinal at 3rd with Ryu pitching. Montoyo hates Espinal.

    Just read on MLB trade rumours that Johnathan Lucroy is a free agent. The write up mentioned a struggling Lucroy at .248/.315 while we have Jansen at an outstanding .054/.146. Worth a look? I know they have 4 catchers on the 40 man already but they could send Kirk down for more seasoning and some sliding drills before he kills himself.

    This could be the Jays possible 2023-24 line-up. Ist-Vladdy 2nd -Bo ss -Orelvis 3rd Biggio Catchers-Kirk, Moreno Of- Springer, Teoscar, Martin, LGJ Dh- Rowdy or any of the above Starters- Ryu, Pearson, Manoah, SWR, any free agent . All dependant on possible injuries and setbacks of course but nice to think about.

    Blue Jays catching is so deep, may have to move Riley to another position. He looks athletic enough to play elsewhere.

    I remember watching Kirk a couple years ago at the complex...he never wanted to leave the cage. He didn't look like much physically but he kept hitting ropes to all fields,always with a smile on his face. God I miss being down there for the past 2 years to watch these kids come through the system.

    I think it's time to move Vladdy back to 3rd. He can't be much worse than the plugs they've been trotting out there. The 2 fatties can share 1st and DH.

    Heading down to Dunedin in a few weeks. Anxious to see the new park and get in some A ball games. Will catch the Jays in Tampa in late April.

    Kirk listed at 5'9"? I'd say more like 5'5. I've seen him in Dunedin. I'm 5'10" and he comes up to my shoulders but he looks good in the batting cage. Looks like he's put on a few more lbs. Good read btw...heading down to Dunedin in 3 weeks, anxious to see the new stadium and watch some A ball.

    I would gladly give up Teoscar's inconsistent bat and his f***ing seeds for Alford or Davis's defence.

    Jonathan Davis would have saved the Jays at least one run tonight. I now understand why Houston gave up on Both Teoscar and Fisher...they value defence.

    I did some research myself and found a report on the Jays picks this year. Really interesting stats..He was a reliever in college posting a 1.57 ERA and his stats 53k,16BB in 28 and 2/3 innings are almost identical to this years combined totals. The report was dated June ,2019.
