There's a difference, a huge f***ing difference, between wanting a pitcher who was killing it the whole night - no runs given up scattered 6 hits and had 10K in 6+ innings - to continue to pitch that night in a game with a small lead when the BP has been shaky recently and wanting a pitcher to pitch into the 8th after pitching just ok - 3 runs and 3K in 7 IP. Besides, did you not see the score? It doesn't matter if Stroman gave up one run or ten tonight since the Jays treated a pitcher who hasn't been any good in three years like he was Nolan Ryan.
