  2. it's only been 2 hits...not 4 and on the plus side he's got some swinging strikes....he just has no idea where the ball is going...good movement tonight though.
  3. I had a commitment and missed the game. Clearly I'm bad luck so I probably shouldn't watch tonight....I always miss the good ones.

  5. I was just looking at the box having watched a lot of the raps game and missing some of the jays game....the Jays had 0 strikeouts today. That can't happen very often.
  6. overtime...my heart can't take it....i'm old!
  7. Dickey's first walk had a 2 to 2 pitch that was a strike that was called a ball too. Those two blown calls cost the jays 2 runs...
  8. and one brutal post!

  10. ok is everyone else having technical difficulties...or is it just shaw tv
  11. tell me how many teams have a 2 war utility infielder on their bench. There are lots of teams starting middle infielders that won't be 1 war players. Goins' bat won't be as bad as it was last year. He's somewhere between slightly negative to 1 war player if pressed into regular duty which is right in line with most teams. I believe he can post a slightly positive WAR this year. He's posted a .704 career .OPS in the minors. I don't think it's unreasonable to suggest he could come around with the bat and post a .620 OPS bat in the big leagues which is more than fine for a backup when the defense is as good as goins' is.
