    Martin has been a 2 win player the last couple years playing hurt a lot of the time. Right now he's much healthier than he was at the beginning of last year. We have no obvious replacement for Martin? We had a 22 year old catcher hit .323/400/484 across A/AA/AAA and he walked 41 times and only struck out 40 times. I'm pretty sure those numbers qualify as someone who could be a potential replacement down the road.

    Tulo should have had the surgery a month ago. The fact that he didn't see this specialist until the end of spring training is pathetic.

    "We obviously have a lot of information from the course of the off-season and after putting all the information together, there’s another specialist we’d like to see and he’d like to see.” That quote doesn't make it sound like he's seen this doctor before or if he has before it doesn't sound like he's seen him this off season.

    yeah...they are going to spend millions of dollars to upgrade the turf for the Jays who play 2 times a year on it. Montreal has a history of wasting money, but even they aren't that dumn.

    We could sign donaldson to an extension.

    Sign me up for dem prospects. I don't recall, what did we get for 2 years of Halladay? We might as good a haul as we did with Halladay seeing as how Donaldson will only have a couple months left on his contract, but I'm sure we'll do really well.

    Tulo is once again worth fewer than 1 fWAR. That seems to be consensus around here. I wouldn't call that a bold prediction.

    I'd rather see Jansen start in AAA and Mcguire in AA and if the jays are in the hunt in June bring up Jansen and move Mcguire to AAA.

    It doesn't really bother me that he wants to start opening day. I understand that. It's the feud between Sanchez and stroman that the Sun eluded to in the article that's the issue. Is their relationship that fractured? That can't be good for the club.

    zeke has done everything you could ask out a 4th outfielder, and outperformed many other teams 4th outfielders. We just have so many outfielders and prospects knocking at the door in the outfield. Zeke truly does deserve to get an opportunity with another team. I hope he catches on somewhere.

    given the way the free agent market has gone our 1 year 13 mil contract with Estrada seems like a bit of an overpay. I'm not sure how you could have predicted this market though and I expect Estrada to have a great year.
