  1. Iunno, some one said it was all statistical noise.
  2. https://www.baseballtradevalues.com/juan-soto-is-untradeable/ pretty nice read.
  3. Castillo - international signing in 2016 by Atkins. Stud.
  4. Come on offense, lets wake up today for our boy Maximus.
  5. Moreno is still new but watching fastballs down the middle strike you out has to be demoralizing lol
  6. All right Max. Earn this starting position today bud. We need ya.
  7. Reds lead 7 - 0 against the Rays (Baz pitching)
  8. Dan Shulman had some pretty cool insights on the McCowan Podcast: 1. Its tricky right now. Yes, they should have fixed the bullpen issue and starting depth already even though the trade deadline is weeks away and things don't heat up until the end. At the same time, if Atkins calls any GM right now, they know he is desperate and so they'll ask for an exorbitant amount of prospects. If Atkins says no or try to haggle, they'll put the phone down and wait for Atkins to call back. It is not an enviable position to be in at the moment despite the glaring need, and you can't expect to get enough wins for playoffs if you keep delaying the fixing until the next offday or until after ASB. 2. Yankees have the ability to overspend to fix their mistakes, are the Jays considering that with Kikuchi? They did it with Roark but there's so much money owed to Kikuchi that they'll look at other options first. Also, consider that Kikuchi is a client of Boras and do they really want to alienate/piss off the most powerful agent in the world?
  9. He was used in game 1, so I am pretty sure there's a pitch-cap for him.
  10. Going to be an interesting WC race tbh. It seemed like AL East was running away with it but Guardians, WSox, Mariners, Rangers, and now the Os are all in it. 3 of those teams are probably going to be buyers; insane market
  11. Os up 7 - 2 against Angels, looks like they are sweeping them (will be 43 - 44 if they do). Angels got decimated by AL East this year lol
  12. I get reactionary statements inside the GDT Damn dude, can't even read. I should've left you on the ignore list. Back to it.
  13. Can't be any worse; Castillo is pitching though so something to look forward to. Chances against Gilbert super low, but never know
  14. Just put 'this FO sucks at pitching' in your signature and every time you make a post, it'll be there. You don't need to reiterate the same thing every day. Not even sure why you do it - who are you trying to convince? why? I get reactionary statements inside the GDT but at this point, you made it your mission to spend every waking breath on this forum chanting the same rhetoric. Even if you get every single person on this sub & reddit to unanimously agree with you, it still will not matter because none of us have the power to resolve the issue you are having. We are barely a blip in the revenue that Rogers makes that even if we completely avoided Jays from herein, it would not matter. If Rogers thinks Shapiro is making Jays a profitable franchise, then Shapiro will stay. If Shapiro thinks Atkins is making the right calls, getting the right drafts, going after the right people, then Atkins will stay. If Atkins thinks the pitching dev is fine, then it'll stay the way it is. If there is a problem, the changes will happen in the offseason. It is very rare for sweeping changes to happen mid-season, especially in a statistic-driven era.
  15. Eh, if it was before last night, that didn't do a damn thing. Also the f*** would you not divulge when? What does withholding that information even do?
  16. ugh tomorrow not gonna be fun - its going to be Matt Peacock.
  17. Reds complete the comeback. Rays lose --- Rizzo & JD Double back to back off Brasier; Yankees lead 3 - 1.
