  1. iunno about elite righties, just send soft lefties at the Jays lineup lol - ait w.e, I am done for the night. o/
  2. mmm, maybe; Mariners have a kick-ass bullpen though. Especially Munoz who has a wipeout slider.
  3. Really Vlad? f*** off with that attitude. Jesus christ.
  4. They do in Nathan Lukes but that means you DFA someone from the 40-man roster, which they have been SUPER reluctant to do this year. Send was risky but glad it worked out.
  5. Why the f*** is Charlie burning so many arms, jfc. Just f***ing keep Romo in, how is he even on a pitch count throwing what he throws
  6. Everyone was like 'we aren't firing on all cylinders yet', well this is what it looks like when none of the cylinders are firing.
  7. The way it'll go is we'll get within 1 run by the 9th, have bases loaded, and Bo will ground out.
  8. Wtb some of those line drives.
  9. I just want our star-studded roster to get some line-drive singles, get on base, push people around instead of relying on infield singles and errors.
  10. Charlie doesn't have the balls to take him off that spot.
  11. Apparently there's a professional in the dugout who plans it for them that we don't have much information on, we should trust despite the lack of results on how to handle softy lefties.
  12. Zimmer made contact; progress?
  13. Iunno man, when s***'s not going your way, that just speaks "I've given up"; I'm probably just reading too much into it, meh.
  14. ya and? force them to make the play.
  15. Not sure why Vladdy doesn't hustle those grounders anymore; he used to zerg hard every infield hit
  16. Devers HRs twice (2-run and 3-run; 18 & 19) to bring back Sox within 1, 6-5 for Yankees
  17. JD hits a grand slam against the Sox. - Hicks follows it up with a solo-shot. 5 - 0 Yankees
  18. Springer's elbow must be pretty bad
  19. Wasn't a conclusion I made - its in his prospect bio that there is a chance he'll see more action at 2B this year, along side continuing to develop LF. The only reason I concerned myself with that statement is because, as you said, he's completely blocked at the MLB level. As for the rest, you just don't know what'll happen and where we'll need the depth. If he's a trade piece, well hopefully we get something good in return, but he looks to be a good lefty contact hitter in a market that is very thin of those.
  20. Anyone excited about Horwitz? Think the Jays will see if he can play another position 'cause he is blocked by Vladdy (maybe 1B/DH rotation). I know they are testing him at 2B and LF but he doesn't really bring defense or speed. LHB, raking through minors, just promoted to AAA and has 2 doubles already in 2 games. Scorched through A/A+/AA in 2 yrs; posted a 0.930 OPS with a 18% walk rate, 22% K rate in AA Really hope we don't trade him if he continues this offense - need them good contact/approach LHBs.
  21. Nothing new to add after a win, no new holes! Also Bello pitching debut.
