    Vig is essentially a rake. Basically its the book keepers price of each bet. So when you see 2 even teams and the line is -110 for each team, you essentially are betting $11 to win $10. Ok thanks for the info though man. What it sounds like, there is more money to be made in the larger leagues. I was just worried there would be more sharks in those with automated mathematical systems leaving the standard player hoping for some good luck. Also, do you prefer FanDuel or DraftKings?

    Looking in to creating an account for either FD or DK, but I am not entirely sure which one is better for me yet. I wanted to ask how people feel about the 10% rake? Do you feel like you can be profitable over time with this? If I'm not mistaken, if you play a head to head match for $5, the winner takes home $4? Obviously you need to win more than you lose to be profitable, around 53% i believe, but do you feel this takes away from the winnings quite a bit? I am experienced with vig, I've been betting online with Pinnacle for years. Just looking to try something new perhaps, test it out a little

    Sure, but his entire article is based off of an assumption. If the FO has kept the payroll this much of a secret the entire offseason, I doubt anyone in the media actually knows what it is.

    and how do you know the 9M doesn't include the breathing room? The fact is no one but the FO knows how much we actually have, and basing it off what Griffin says is just as logical as mine or your best guess

    That would require Pompey or Pillar+ going back I would assume, considering they are looking for OF help. We aren't really a good match for them in terms of trading partners though

    I don't see the point in keeping Valencia. He made sense when we had a 3b carousel but where does he fit now? He's not a good enough hitter to get 1b or DH time

    I love how people who shoot down Melky's D say they would love Markakis instead. The guy's fielding is just as bad as Melky and arguably worse, and providing less pop offensively. Im not on the Melky train either, but don't give me Markakis as a replacement and think we've upgraded immensely

    Yeah I was thinking Stroman Hutch or Donaldson. Last time i got a pitcher I didn't look at advanced stats and got Ricky Romero. AWESOME

    They have a link on Facebook to get a new Donaldson Jersey (Black Friday sale is still on) so I go to try and purchase one and they don't have any on the site? Does anyone know if you gotta call them or what the hell to do

    idk I think with modern architecture you can make a nice retractable roof stadium thats comparable. Even Miller Park is really nice. Its not only in April, but in October and potentially November its much safer for the players and more comfortable for the fans to have a retractable roof. They're the most Northern city in the league, this isn't the only April they've had problems. The snow storms a couple years ago forced them to play home games in Milwaukee
