    Gonna disagree here. I think the 2015 team was the strongest team in the post season. BABIP bad luck killed us in the championship series, but in no way was it a team with too many holes to realistically win a championship

    A lot of it is fluff im sure, but you have to go out of your way to unfollow someone on multiple social media platforms. It doesnt just happen automatically or by accident.

    It depends on your attitude about it. If they dont let it get to their heads and bother them, it won't affect their play. However if they start believing "you cant win when you're not right within" it'll be harder to succeed

    Andrew? Is that you? Really though, I dont mind some of his pieces, he actually comes out with some pretty reasonable stuff. However, when he gets an idea or certain line of thinking in his head, he is unable or unwilling to accept any other view point. For example, once Edwin signed, Stoeten started a long rant about how Rogers is too cheap, and this would have never happened under better ownership. Which is a pretty short sighted and casual opinion.

    oh really? s*** I had no idea. Who else is in our division? So let me see if I'm understanding you correctly. Because the Yankees and Red Sox have strong farm systems, we'll have no chance for the next decade or two. So while we're above average right now, lets load up and take one last shot at it?

    exactly, we could start a rebuild/retool and do it right by accumulating high picks and prospects and have a chance to be a perennial contender a few years from now. Or we can take a one year shot in the dark where everything must exactly break our way for us to contend. Its the perfect time to unload guys like Donaldson, Tulo and Martin. Their value is only going to decrease the longer we wait

    Our farm system is hardly top 20, and can't hold the shoes of the NYY and BOS systems. We're not desperate for a single pick but it is a very valuable one, and if we're gonna compete in the future we're gonna need some more elite prospects.

    Even with Bautista, this team isnt as good as Boston or Cleveland. You're basically saying you'd rather have a bleak one year shot and bottom out the next 5 years rather than today begin building a team structured for long term success. Makes sense, dynasty's are boring

    A front office that just gave up the #11 pick and 70M to a 31 year old Ian Desmond should be easily persuaded into taking Greene + Harold Ramirez package

    lol f*** off Colorado. Coming off a career year its not really the time to buy high on Blackmon. He'll likely be right back down to 2.0 fWAR, I'm pretty confident Stroman will surpass that. Edit: Just checked his projections, steamer has him at a whopping 1.2 fWAR
