Yeah that photo is likely related to his memorabilia collecting. The Gamecube connected to a CRT could only mean they play Super Smash Bros Melee, which automatically makes them awesome people.

I had McBroom 13 or 14 I think, mostly because everyone after the top ten or so suxxx. I didn't originally have him on the list and regret his inclusion. I guess I included McBroom because there's a small chance he could be a league average-ish bat and maybe have a few seasons with some big league at bats whereas someone like DJ Davis has almost no chance to make the majors at this point. I changed spots 10-15 a bunch of times and never really found something I was completely happy with.
