  1. Huge win! They are just saving the hits in their bats to whack Garrett Richards around in game #2!
  2. It must be nice to be in the AL Central. The Indians look like crap yet they are hovering around .500
  3. No J. Ramirez and McKenzie suxx. Win the series tonight!
  4. Vlad and Springer due up. I'm still feeling a W!
  5. Quite surprised when the news first broke and I still don't like the trade. But whatever, hopefully it works out for the Blue Jays.

SGA is looking like a stud you build around. At age 22 he had a monster offensive season this year. The only guards with a better True Shooting % were Steph Curry, Zach Lavine and Bryn Forbes (only taking 7.6 shots per game). Dame Lillard has the same TS%. Gilgeous-Alexander only played 35 games this year but he looks super promising.

I would have thought Detroit would accept that in a heartbeat. Yeah SGA will need to get paid soon but nobody in the NBA gets paid under market for as many years as they do in MLB. You only hope Cade turns into a player of SGA's caliber. Of the last 8 1st overall picks, SGA is clearly better than 3 of them (Anthoy Bennett, Wiggins, Fultz), probably better than Deandre Ayton, debatably better than Ben Simmons, probably worse than KAT and definitely worse than Zion Williamson. Anthony Edwards could develop but SGA I think has the better career. SGA and pick #6 seems very solid for the #1 pick.
  8. Nah my eyes are saying he's only up about 50 rpm.
  9. Holy christ, have a weekend, Orelvis! Who cares about strikeouts when he's crushing baseballs like this!
  10. Cal Stevenson was another $5000 guy in 2018. He was also in that Sanchez and Biagini trade to Houston for Derek Fisher. His minor league numbers are solid. I bet he at least gets a cup of coffee in the major leagues.
  11. Exhibit A: Kendall Graveman Senior sign and a $5000 signing bonus in the 8th round of 2013. Edit - Chad Girodo was another senior sign that year in the 10th round. Never turned into anything but he had some nice minor league numbers and was able to make it to the major leagues.
  12. Must have already had an agreement with the MLBPA.
  13. I wouldn't count on it. TJS is more like 15-18 months these days. I would not be surprised if he didn't have any professional innings in 2022
  14. I didn't see it posted in this thread. There's a live Youtube feed Reading the live chat is kinda funny. Lots of Red Sox fans complaining that they already have Xander.
  15. Stripling has only allowed 4 flyballs. 3 of which left the yard.
  16. José Ramírez has options for '22 and '23 that will certainly be picked up.
  17. I'm sure they're talking but they don't have too much say in when things can happen.
  18. The Blue Jays themselves have basically no control over this. It's governments and the players' union.
  19. (tweet)tweet number(/tweet) Replace parentheses with brackets [][] Tweet number in this case: 1411785556892205059 Click the time on the tweet to get the tweet number (it will be in the URL)
  20. The 2021 Manfred baseball wrecked their offense and the sticky-stuff crackdown ruined their pitching. Praise Manfred!
  21. Gleyber Torres has a .310 slugging percentage.
  22. The Giants are so weird. Crawford, Posey, Belt, Longoria, Ruf all decided to simultaneously turn back the clock 4-6 years and become the peak versions of themselves again. In their mid-30s.
