Cubbies are on the verge of having a dynasty. Had the got Tanaka they would have been even further ahead. If Arrieta and Hendricks pan out and they sign a couple of FA pitchers like Lester etc I see them in two or three years going on a long run . That is going to be a tough division.

I don't at all agree with the rapid promotion of our top prospects. Law is right. What happened to the Rays way of promoting pitchers one step a year. I'm an AA guy but this is all about him trying desperately to hang on to his job and isn't good for the Organization but he needs to show Rogers that he has cheaper guys on the horizon.

The one thing I would definitely change is have a 3 game series for the wild card. This one game playoff is bull s***.

I would be dealing either and actually think we could get more for Dickey who fits their ball park . Still if the angels come calling and are willing to move some ( look what they gave up for street ) prospects of value then I'm dealing one of them. I might add that Richards injury sure screws me. I have him in 3 leagues.

If only the Angels had at least a couple of decent pitching prospects I really would go after them hard to trade Dickey. He would survive in that Ballpark and would pitch well for them with their defense. I'm sure Dickey has passed thru waivers and is the type of guy they need. I think they would anti up the money but it would be all about the players coming back.

The rotation other than Stroman has been about what was expected . Well a few including me had hoped Dickey would rebound. The bull Pen has been s*** and that was something no one expected. The bull pen losses in April were brutal but most including AA said we would go as far as the Rotation takes us which is a 500 record . About right for the starters we have

I just get the feeling Rogers will cut the budget. Attendence is down about 2000 per game which is a significant amt of revenue. The new guard at the head of Rogers corp wasn't willing to add money last offseason and with the loss in revenue and the lower Canadian dollar I firmly believe the budget goes down . Hope I'm wrong .

John if AA were to go full blown rebuild I would be fine with that. I don't see how he can retool this offseason to make this a winning team unless he guts the minors and I couldn't handle that nor could AA do that. Just not good enough pitching IMO and the offense is declining. As for the 3/4 vet . That,s Dickey and Buehrle.

Well since everyone considers me as one of the dinosaurs . I'll say this . If you go that far blow the whole thing up . it has to be blown up anyway unless a lot of money gets added to the budget and he guts the farm.

And 145 mil like last year isn't enough . The roster I posted won't go anywhere but it won't be blown up and the budget will be cut IMO. It will suck and be blown up in july.

Totally dependent on the budget. What do posters think the budget will be in 2015 I suspect it goes down to Aprox 120 mil. That means Rasmus, Melky, Morrow, Santos,and Mcgowan are gone. No room for Both Lind and Fransico on this team so while I exercise Lind,s option I deal him and Platoon Reimold and Fransisco at DH. I really try to trade Buehrle even if I eat 6 mil. Happ believe it or not I keep. The new 94 mph fastball Happ is tradeable at 6.7 and i will trade him when I blow this team up at the deadline So 1st- Encarnacion 2nd- Kawasaki SS- Reyes 3rd- Lawrie LF - FA CF- Gose/ Pillar platoon RF- Bautista DH- Francisco/ Reimold Dickey Stroman Hutch Happ ?????? As for the BP Cecil Loup Redmond Jenkins Drabek FA FA Did not do the #,s but there should be some money for FA signings . Then blow it up at the deadline . Eat money and deal Reyes, trade Bautista,Dickey and Happ plus Cecil and any one you can get good value for

Any GM who gave Janssen and Rasmus QO,s would be laughed out of baseball. Realistically this team should be blown up this offseason which we all know won't happen unless a new president comes in and really cuts the budget.

I'll say it again ! If Rasmus is on this team next year I will be very pissed . He should have been moved last offseason when his value peaked and we had no money and needed pitching

Sanchez,s value may lie in the bull pen but I would have him in AAA in 2015 working on his command . Still too early to say he is a failed starter.

It is all about keeping Buffalo happy which is VERY important to the Jays . Who want to go back to the PCL.

That is 16 with catchers interference which is a new rule this year. he said this was an old question posed to him by a friend and it took him a year to get them all . Thanks for the help guys . I will have to confess that I had to ask for help on the last one .

Read above posts Moogy. I answered most of your post As for Hit, I asked him that so would love someone who is an official scorer to wade in on that . HBP with bases loaded is good . How did I miss that one ! Anyway, the one I was thinking on is wrong as it would be considered a hit.

That was supposed to be SB I had them in a different order and started to switch them and I guess I didn't finish. A Sacrifice is still a sacrifice . Catchers interfence is right but i believe that now makes it 16 different ways. It Is obstruction.

LOL at a QO. I don't even see a two year deal happening. Personally I think they look at Sanchez as the next closer and we'll get the speil about they eventually want to move him back into the rotation . BS but that is what i think happens

He has done a better job of that than the previous two GMs . The JPR era was the darkest in Jays history . At least we have a farm system . In JPR,s days we had s***. drafted s*** and what we did draft we couldn't develop.
