Dustin Ackley please? Should be not too expensive to acquire and he has a high ceiling. According to Wedge, sabermetric wizards are to blame for Ackley's struggles the past year. Well, no need to worry about that with the Blue Jays so he should probably flourish here.

John Tavares out for the rest of the year. The Islanders aren't going to be happy with that. Or maybe they will... It'll help them tank more and get an even better draft selection. They weren't going anywhere this year anyway.

Or maybe he got hit in the head with a beer stein again? Maybe he couldn't pull through this time? Is it time to send out a search party, or is it just a lost cause.. Who's in line in the BBDL to take his place and carry on Spankys Legacy? There's that 1 poster in the BBDL that goes by the name boxy, seems like he knows how to build a team, I vote him.

Jimenez has a little better upside with the bat. And may be even better at defense.

Played in AA the past 2 years. I'd say go for it. I wouldn't mind seeing some good defense behind the plate.
