    Ya, I can see Estrada being back if he's willing to take a reasonable contract. Could be a good #4/5. It'll be nice to get Izturis and Navarro outta here.

    Izturis 3Mil Estrada 4Mil Navarro 5Mil Tulo is 2Mil cheaper than Reyes MB is 20Mil RA is 12Mil Romero's 8Mil That's 54Mil coming off the books. Martin's 8Mil raise, and MB's 15Mil if he does accept, leaves us with $31MM.

    I think if they'll have money to maybe even add 2. I just did some quick math, and figuring in the raises and such they'll have close to 40 Million to work with if they go with the same payroll as this year.

    We're set up good I think to acquire one. Would leave us with Stroman, Good FA Starter, Hutch, Sanchez, Osuna?

    We'll be signing a free agent starter this offseason anyway. And we'll have the money. We clear 20 for MB, 12 Dickey, 8 from Romero. That's 40 Mil coming off the books.

    I think if AA offers him a fair contract he might take it. There's a lot of starters available this offseason, which means a lot of competition.

    Yes, he is. Over the past month the only other guy on the Cubs to get a save was Grimm who had 2. Both came in extra innings after Motte had already pitched.

    Anyone want Tommy Milone for a pick or somekind of pick upgrade? He's actually been half decent since he's been called up. Would make a good depth starter. I'd also move closer Jason Motte too.

    Walk rate has return to normal in June and July. April and May was abnormally low, so that'll drag his season averages down.
