  1. Hicks likely unavailable for tomorrow. Just great!
  2. Bullpen has been A+ this game keeping the score the way it is. Keep it going Hicks!
  3. Hicks could have had an easy inning geez!
  4. Leadoff double by Vladdy wasted. Now Duran in the 9th versus the bottom of the order
  5. This lineup is a complete joke geez! Blowing an opportunity this 8th inning!
  6. What was Bichette swinging at? Geez!
  7. I'm gonna make some chicken wings! Got some beers in the freezer! Lets go!
  8. Only 2-0 but with this lineup, huge mountain to climb.
  9. Whats the percentage of runs scoring after a leadoff walk? I hate it as a fan and everytime I watch a game it seems, runs score after a leadoff walk.
  10. Geez that was almost Deja vu from Game 2 last season
  11. Leadoff is never good. Twins score one here
  12. Vlad ground ball! At least he didn't ground into a DP
  13. Rangers BP sucks. Rays definitely could come back if they keep it close.
  14. They should compensate us like $20. They did that last season.
  15. That's why the Jays traded him
  16. Berrios will be extra motivated to show the Twins that they made a mistake in trading him.
  17. Yeah he's capable of having a great start where he goes 5 or 6 innings and racks up a bunch of K's. Highly touted arm in their system. Just struggled this season at the big league level. Brewers lineup isn't as terrifying as the Braves or Dodgers.
  18. Yeah if they squeeze out a win in Game 1, they definitely have the advantage with Gallen and Kelly going in Game 2 and 3. Peralta though like you said has been lights out. Important to win Game 1.
  19. Yeah gotta be happy the Jays were able to set up their rotation the way they wanted to for this WC series. At least they're throwing their best pitchers in this series. I think every other teams has their pitching lined up the way they want, except Arizona. 10 years ago, Gallen and Kelly would be starting on short rest no doubt. If Arizona squeezes out a win vs. Burnes tonight, they look good for the rest of the series. If they lose Game 1, there is the possibility they only use one of their two top SPs in this series which would be disappointing.
  20. Arizona starting Pfaadt for Game 1 against the Brewers. Gallen and Kelly both pitched on Friday & Saturday. Sucks to start the series with Pfaadt but if the D'Backs pull out a win in Game 1, gotta like their chances with Gallen and Kelly for the next two games.
  21. Figured I would start a general Postseason Thread to talk about the rest of the teams/series.
  22. Both KK and Belly ended up to be fantastic signings. KK came with lower risk since he only cost $9M vs. Bellinger at $17.5M. Just needed KK to stay healthy for the most part and play solid defense in CF, which he did. You needed Belly to make huge adjustments offensively in order to get solid value or else you were paying close to $18M for just a solid defensive player. Jays would have benefited more having Bellinger's bat in the lineup given the rest of this lineups struggles. But oh well, can't complain about what KK has provided for this club!
  23. 4:30PM weekday games so it's somewhat understandable. Plus tickets to watch teams like Minnesota etc., never really are expensive in comparison to some other MLB teams. Probably cheaper to see the Jays play on the road than play at home during the Postseason for tickets haha.
  24. The window for this Jays group is closing more as every season goes by without a World Series. Jays should have been a team that has the best or second best record in the AL and a serious contender to make the ALCS/World Series by now. Instead they've just been a borderline WC team. Anything can happen in the Postseason at least so happy the Jays are in. Even as underdogs, hope they have less pressure on them and play loose and good baseball.
