  1. MLBTR predicted him to get 6.1 million, in which case the Blue Jays have the closer number. Bo might win, but not 'without a doubt'. Good analysis though.
  2. I saw we trade him off while we can. He's annoying and ungrateful. Unload him.
  3. Nobody is interested in those 2 for 1 deals.
  4. Ok, each manager can set their own rules in the draft. If your queue is empty, it just waits the full 12 hours for you to make the pick. So, the only way it autodrafts a random is if you exhaust your full 12 hours without making a pick, and you don't put anyone in your queue. And generally during the first few rounds, if the commissioners will pause the draft if someone is about to miss a pick.
  5. Auto-pick is great as long as we have a commissioner is familiar with it, and knows how to undo things in case a mistake happens. I love that I can set a couple guys in the queue, and have it pick while I'm sound asleep, so I don't hold up the draft. If you don't set up autopick, then you still have your 12 hours to figure out your pick. It really only hurts people that take over 12 hours AND can't be bothered to make their picks on time.
  6. Pretty impressive 5/6 so far - and pretty specific wishes. Just need the Jano extension for a perfect off-season.
  7. 4 years of control of a 4.6 WAR left-handed hitting outfielder, for an unproven prospect and 1-year of Lourdes, who had a major power drought last year, and is looking decidedly average, and people are crying? Guys, this is likely a steal. Defense doesn't slump. Varsho was the best defensive outfielder in all of baseball last year. There's a small chance that Moreno is so good, he turns this deal in the Snakes favour, but unlikely given his lack of power, and the fact that catching prospects routinely dissappoint. Top Catching Prospects by year 2015 Blake Swihart (18) 2016 Willson Contreras (50) 2017 Carson Kelly (39) 2018 Francisco Mejia (11) 2019 Joey Bart (22)
  8. TCA is the winner. Correct team. Year off by one. Salary off by 5 million. DM me your e-mail, and I'll send you an interac.
  9. Calculating final results: Here are all the people that picked NYY Greenwood Yankees 10 375 Grant Yankees 8 270 Wilko Yankees 8 325 Omar Yankees 10 400 G-Snarls Yankees 8 275 LTBF Yankees 8 300 Horses Yankees 10 380 TCA Yankees 10 355
  10. I do not want the Jays to pau Verlander $130 for 3 years. most I would want is $70 for 2, which likely won't get him. Let someone else overpay and take the risk. We already have Ryu anchoring us down this year, and Kikuchi hitting us for two more years.
  11. Looking to make it sustainable. So more interested in young-ish pitchers, as opposed to Verlander/DeGrom types.
  12. I need SP badly. Have the following to trade: Gunnar Henderson Juan Yepez Luis Rengifo Jorge Polanco 1st round picks: 1st overall, 7th, 8th, 11th 18th, 19th
  13. Would be nice to pave the way for Danny to be an everday player.
  14. Probably gonna try to stick us with Brandon Lowe. That's the only salary dump that makes sense, because they aren't moving Franco.
  15. must be a Colorado thing: Sean Bouchard .296/.377/.574 54 AB You need an OPS of at least 1000 to get regular playing time in Colorado.
  16. We should make a rule that if you play with a tampon stuck up your nose, you don't get to represent Canada anymore.
  17. I think we all got fooled into thinking Canada could match up against anybody after doing so well against the "#2 team in the world". But it turns out Belgium is just really s***.
  18. Fair enough, but if Canadian strikers consistently fire wide, or take incredibly weak shots, it isn't factored in. Canada gets plenty of scoring chances, we just have trouble finishing. Hopefully, we win our next two games.
  19. Whatever formula is used to determine expected goals, doesn't seem to take the quality of the shot into play. 14 shots in the first half, and only two on the net. Like, is the net not big enough?
  20. Strider feels like free money because I picked him up off waivers last year.
  21. I'm hearing Jays get Bellinger 2/16 with opt-out.
  22. I'm not much of a soccer fan, but I just looked at the overall World Cup Standings. Guys, we're tied for second out of thirty-two teams. Amazing!
  23. I don't think Davies played. I think they're holding him back to make sure he's healthy for the real games.
  24. This is the worst thing you have ever said. Jansen is going to be our MVP this year, and it's not going to be close. (unless he gets traded or hurt).
  25. We didn't trade Teoscar for Swanson and Macko We traded 1 year of Teoscar for 3 years of Swanson plus potentially 6 years of Macko. With only one year of control left on Teoscar, and declining numbers (increased K rate), Teoscar doesn't have a lot of value left. Waiting until the all-star break will significantly diminish his value, particularly if he has a slow start. Atkins is trying to build a sustainable team. You do that by trading guys with one year of control (and some value) away for prospects and players with more years of control left. However, with both him and probably Tapia gone, we do need to bring in a quality outfielder in a big way.
