    If the Jays need Sanchez for game 162, it'll be Stroman. If the last game has no implications it'll be Sanchez... simple. Happ is starting Saturday night.

The starter for that game would depend entirely on how the Blue Jays finish the season, but the most likely candidate appears to be Aaron Sanchez. Toronto's rotation is currently lined up to feature Marco Estrada, J.A. Happ and Sanchez, in that order, for the final regular-season series of the year in Boston. Sanchez is tentatively scheduled for the last game on Sunday, Oct. 2, but if the matchup does not matter in the standings, he would be pushed back for Tuesday's potential American League Wild Card Game. If the Blue Jays need to go all hands on deck vs. the Red Sox, then it's possible Estrada could be brought back on three days' rest, but that seems unlikely at this point.

    I'm assuming the WC1 is locked up? Gibbons rested guys cause we clinched the East, there's no way he'd rest players if we don't have the WC1.

    If Toronto has the WC1 locked up, they'll be pitching Dickey too push back Sanchez for the WC game, Gibbon's has already implied this. Plus, pitching Dickey on the last game of the year with no implications, does not mean they'll be conceding the game. Players always play to win, period. Whoops... thought we were talking about the last game against Boston... The Dogg's an idiot, that post is f***ing terrible.

    Jays elimination #'s in regards to the top WC position. Orioles - 5 Tigers - 3 Mariners - 2 Astros - 1 (We hold the tiebreak here) Essentially they're eliminated from the WC1 spot. Playoff Projections Tor - 97% BAL - 61% DET - 31% SEA - 9% HOU - 2% NYY - 0% K.C - 0%
