Off topic, but my league is currently doing our draft order for a basic 5x5 league. We draft the slots we want. 7 people selected and took 1,3,5,6,7,8,9 and I just gladly took the 2nd slot with the 8th selection. I finally get to own Cabrera!!

I don't even really remember the origin. I think it was just that we all felt he was the most boring prospect in the entire draft. He usually gets mocked/taunted any time his names comes up (despite actually putting up a decent year).

Everyone should just completely rip into BTS' pick at 16 and trash it like no other.

Not that anyone has done this, but can everyone make sure they don't discuss or give hints at any remaining players? I know in the BBDL thread, some posters would give clues and practically list the best guys available. I'm sure no one in our league would do it anyway but I just wanted to ask to be safe.

Is anyone else having issues with the google doc or is it just me? I can only see prospects, MiLB picks, and Waiver picks. I can't see any of the owned players. It just shows rows 37 and on.

Just a thought for if this happens again where someone knows they will be away. I can understand not wanting to message someone your top 10 because they might be interested in the same guy and then choose him. I don't pick til 40th though, so you can message me and then I can post your pick for you.

Here's my opinion. Before I say anything about the current situation, I think you need to have a noon windows rule. This is a brutal window. I know BTS said it takes 30 seconds to check the board, but that doesn't work with a 9-9 window. There's a very good chance someone could leave to meet up with people at 8 on a Friday night, get hammered, and not even wake up til 11 the next day. Are they supposed to a) make a drunken pick when they stumble home at 3 AM or set their alarm to wake up earlier and make a pick? Why not just make a rule where all windows that are set to expire after 6 AM get pushed to noon? Now for gibbers. If you're in a dynasty league you should be checking the DDL forum at least once a day, or at worst, at least once every TWO days. It takes 5 minutes tops to check both the proboards and DDL thread on here. If he was doing the above, he would have known the waiver draft is this weekend. The announcement for the waiver draft was three days ago. He could be out of town or something, but that's why you have to tell people you're going to be out of town for a few days in February. We all knew this draft was coming. It's perfectly fair for someone to make their pick when the window expires. I also wouldn't hold it against someone if they want to be a nice guy and give him more time. I personally wouldn't show mercy after 12 PM.
