However, this year you've ripened, and grown a savvy eye for great opportunities like buying Curtis Granderson for dirt cheap before he breaks out again next season.

If anyone wants to stash Granderson and hope he can start to not suck again, I'd move him cheap.

Just to clarify, is our deadline the same as Yahoo's? I'm 95% sure the Yahoo trade deadline is 2:59 AM EST on September 1st. Are we going by that, or 11:59 PM EST on August 31st.

The most confusing thing is that it feels like this came out of nowhere. I thought gibbers would have at least posted that he plans on moving Lynn in the next couple days.

It's so weird because gibbers has been MIA for a while. Then on the trade deadline he deals Lance Lynn out of nowhere to a non-contending team. Since it has to be all MiLB pieces on JF's team, I'm guessing it's something like 1st + Sanchez + Moran? Lynn is no slouch -- 27 year old who has been excellent this year.

Let's see what the best pick I can get offered for Justin Masterson is. It's been ugly, but the strikeouts will still be there with that filthy slider.

I probably won't be making many moves today. However, I'm curious to see what I could get for Melancon. 29 year old with exceptional peripherals -- should be a solid bet for 40+ saves the next few years. I'm wasting him since he's the only closer I own. If you're looking for another lights out closer, send an offer my way.

I've had two Buchholz starts against me this season. One of them was a 12 K, 0 BB shutout. Now it's looking like another shutout tonight. Unreal.
