    seeing Mike Foltynewicz on this list hurts. We swapped those draft picks giving you 83 and I was literally ready to take him at 85. It especially hurts because I probably would have seen Delmonico at 85.

    Its not that he is a big speedster normally, I was using that term in the way any player turns some amount of singles into doubles by simply pressing the issues (ie it will be close at 2nd). His gimpyness is hurting him in the field and on the bases. I'm sure its hurting his stroke at the dish as well.

    Does double jeopardy apply strictly to murder? My understand was it just protects people from being charged for the same crime twice, not strictly for the same murder.

    The range is crazy. I'm just saying I'd be tempted to try the guy at 2B if we have another viable option at 3B. He's proved his defensive doubters wrong in the past. That being said, its not like we have a replacement at 3B right now anyway.

    People talk about the lineup crunch with Reyes coming back. To me its pretty easy, swap Jose and Melky on the DL. Without any inside info about what is wrong with his Hammys, if 15 days off will help him then I think you do that. He is an average-driven player. He needs that +.300 average to make his OBP and SLG look good. Its got to be tough to put a good swing on the ball with legs like that, and he certainly isn't stretching any singles to doubles. We don't really lose anything playing Davis in his spot, but we have a lot to gain if we comes back healthy after 15 days.

    I know I'm likely going to have to go with some quick to the majors types in next years draft. I've got some likely graduates in my system, but I chose a LOT of young talent this year.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't the scouting reports for Brett at 3rd bad too? When he was coming up I heard LF was his final resting spot.

    I agree that the "bullet time" doesn't add much. Its interesting, but that's about it. Once the novelty wears off, meh. Regarding PitchTrax, I find it sort of distracting, I wish they would use it more sparingly. I also find whatever system we're using a bit inaccurate. I could just be ME that's inaccurate, but some of those spots don't pass the eye test.

    Agreed. That guys an idiot, but it has to be pretty black and white cheating or WAAAAY more lopsided than that before the veto gets thrown around.
