  1. Thanks, Jim.
  2. That's a lot of talent in Vancouver, holy s***.
  3. Yeah, they basically just flipped levels. Makes sense for cutting down travel costs. The Northwest League became High A, the Midwest League is also now High A, the Florida State League is Low A. The Cal League is Low A too. I guess then we'll also have the GCL and DSL teams. Seems like a lot of teams are going to be operating 2 teams out of their GCL/AZL complex this year.
  4. Is it too soon to talk about player assignments for next year? Orelvis Martinez will almost certainly be Dunedins starting shortstop, right? Does Manoah go back to Vancouver? What about Austin Martin?
  5. https://stadiumjourney.com/news/milb-2021 Jays keep Vancouver as their High A affiliate Dunedin becomes the Low A affiliate Lansing becomes Oaklands affiliate Thoughts? Interestingly, this means more baseball in Vancouver, since they'll now be playing from April through September rather than the short season schedule of June through the end of August
  6. post scores and go https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/games/pitch-type-guess
  7. I received an email when I was on deck and when I was on the clock
  8. We also claimed Walker Lockett from the Mariners
  9. Jays claimed Anthony Castro from the Tigers edit: cant beat the jerb
  10. Again, you're being misleading. I wasn't insinuating anything. I was pointing out you posting misleading stats, as per the usual. Apparently you need to jump to conclusions to make a point. Be gone, troll!
  11. Please show me where I said that you said he would put up a 60% groundball rate in the majors. Again, please stop trying to mislead people.
  12. Grant, Zoinks was unable to sustain GB rates over 60% as a starter at the upper levels of the minors. You should stop pointing to this, because it's misleading. Also, I think it is obvious that major league hitters can square up his s***** sinker when minor league hitters can't. His MLB profile is the most valuable information we have. But sure, keep pointing to his groundball rates in Dunedin as to why he'll be good.
  13. His sinker is f***ing terrible lol. Career .430 xWOBA!
  14. And you're backtracking. Just take the L and walk away Grant.
  15. All of those guys are different pitchers than Zoinks. Leake has a career zone percentage of 52%. Zeuch is sitting at 38%. His strike throwing abilities are probably average (at best). It is most certainly not above average. In fact 38% is comfortably a below average zone%. So he doesn't even throw strikes at an above average rate. Keuchel also has/had vastly superior strikeout ability to Zoinks and sustained good strikeout numbers in his prime. That's not a good comparison at all. And his groundball abilities aren't "extreme". Zach Brittons groundball abilities are extreme. There are many pitchers who rock a 52 GB% out of the pen. Your take that he could be a useful starter is asinine and I really think you must be trolling, because there's almost nothing in Zeuchs profile that suggests he could be that. Zeuch is probably closer to Justin Nicolino in talent level than he is Keuchel or Leake.
  16. Swing and a miss, Grant. Unlike Zoinks.
  17. Yeah, I mean they are acceptable as bodies to fill out the 40-man roster. Zeuch has been serviceable in a limited sample as a mop-up guy. Foley can't get even throw strikes when he gets in the game though so I would just send him packing first. At the end of the day they both suck and definitely won't be on this team past next season.
  18. I would send them both their DFA slips before I sent them plane tickets to driveline. It's a high spin 4-seamer, lol. Not a sinker.
  19. No, he doesn't. Zeuch doesn't throw hard either, lol. Do you even watch the games?
  20. I was with you up until you got to the goaltenders
  21. *checks notes* Ah yes, gotta make sure you give playing time to Raimel Tapia and Sam Hilliard
  22. No, I lost my job, again. Canuck Buck funding for me.
  23. This is very true. Shoulder injuries are like the plague. And once you get it, it's not going away. Justin Maese is a good example Joe Ross, Tyson Ross.. Carlos Rodon, Jimmy Nelson, even Julio Urias, Henderson Alvarez, Chris Archer, Dellin Betances! Danny Salazar Carson Smith was the best reliever in baseball in 2015 lol Basically if your shoulder starts to bark and you need surgery, if you come back you will be terrible and then get hurt again SELL SELL SELL on Brendan McKay!
