I have been sitting here trying to figure out what you're trying to argue, but after your Pearson comment it just seems like you are triggered that I used publicly available projections to make an off-hand comment about a player signing.

Steamer and ZIPs projections take all these things into account.

I just can't feel good about giving 40 million to a catcher who projects to hit for a sub .300 wOBA. They better hope he outperforms his projections. Not hard to see his 2019 and 2020 seasons being BABIP fuelled rage (and also his peak). It's probably OK in the end, but count me out as a McCann truther. Not sorry!

It doesn't really seem like there's indication that a trade of any of those three is on the table. The Rockies are just spinning tires. Remember, they obviously need to give more playing time to their glut of outfielders to see what they have in them.

And then the problem is that the front office is so bad I don't think you could trust them to do a proper rebuild. They will need to get some lucky hits with some prospects or have a complete FO change to turn that shipwreck around. Big yikes!

Not sure I would categorize the Braves prospects like that. They have a lot of misses in addition to their hits. Pache looks like an average regular to me, not sure if he'll be a good enough hitter to be a star.

True, but he doesn't have many innings in pro ball and is coming off a major injury. I would even say you could start him in Dunedin for a month and advance him from there. But it mostly depends how he looks in spring training. Either way, it will be interesting, and good to have minor league baseball back. Assuming there will be a minor league baseball season, of course.
