    Blocking prospects is a good thing. Not a bad problem to have by any means. Let those guys force their way onto the roster and figure things out from there. They can live as depth pieces until they are needed.

    Yeah it makes sense. Even if Hoglund reaches MLB it's likely he's closer to a middle of the rotation guy than a SP1. And those guys are readily available on free agency every offseason. I would only really balk at trading Shane Baz types or someone like pre-debut Manoah who was major league ready. Hoglund was a good prospect to have but not untradeable by any means.
