    I don't get why people care about the service clock. He won't start next year in the majors so theres a good chance he makes up the next 1.5 months anyway. The only thing that would matter is burning an option year.

    I remember him being established as one of the best defensive 3B in the minors coming up. Only question was if he could cut down the strikeouts, which he has, and that's how you end up with 4.5 fWAR in 380 PA

    "Instructs" is a camp at the end of September/October. He's probably just on the backfields building up arm strength. There's been no word on what the plan is for him.
