    While I am quite happy about our recent fortunes, a couple of key weaknesses have me a little concerned. Those being our bats against LHP and our inability to hit offspeed pitches. The first issue is reasonable, as although we give up a lot against LHP our bench is ironclad for the later innings when were like to see a RHP. My real worry is how many junkballs we're chasing outside the zone(namely Reyes, Lawrie, Rasmus, Francisco, etc). While I expect this to decrease as the season goes, I can't say I've felt confident with some of those guys at the plate.

    You're a rare sort Chappy.. The ability to rationally utilize an addictive substance is hard to come by. I work 50 hour weeks, yet still manage to drink 5/7, smoke pot 7/7 and will abuse any drug I can easily acquire or am offered. I'm 26, hold down a management position in my field and am, generally, well regarded by my peers. I wish I had the ability to limit my consumption, however, without an altered state of mind I'm far too bored. Addiction can happen quickly, slowly, intentionally or without a thought. It truly is the demon in the freezer.

    By, saying you can't get addicted to coke through intermittent use is a bit skeptic. You might not snort a rip during the week, but let me ask you this: If you're out for a casual pint on a Tuesday night and a friend offers you a bump, do you say no? I highly doubt it. The thing is with coke, you may not be addicted, but the ability to turn it down is an awful tricky thing to develop.

    Is a disciplinarian, who will fight for his team really that gross? Bowa is hard as nails and will reign in any egos. I'm a firm believer in blood in, blood out and for me thats best exemplified by Bowa.
