  1. Grant its better to spot wash denim with a damp cloth than it is to machine wash. Once bacteria is in denim it doesn't really come out, for smell put them in a garbage bag in the freezer and the smell is gone in a few hours.
  2. Yet so many people wear dad jeans, or jeans that don't fit, or are too long, have knee bags or droop off the ass because they're made from terrible denim. Jeans should last you 2+ years with everyday use and that includes working, hiking, camping, casual wear use, etc and if they don't you can safely assume the product is s***.
  3. I own two pairs, both are 18+ months old and still in fantastic shape with normal wear fades but seams have held together and the crotch hasn't blown out. They're frankly the only jeans I'll buy at this point in time.
  4. I really like what Arizona has done recently. They're going to be an interesting team in the NLW.
  5. If you're not in any rush for jeans, and you have a good fitting pair of jeans/chinos/pants and are cool with crowd funding and want hand made raw denim at affordable prices then https://www.weargustin.com/ is the place to buy jeans. They'll even tell you how to measure.
  6. No but a standard fit dark wash, something for a mall brand American Eagles slim fit are good.
  7. Reddit's BlueJays subreddit has become unreadable. This is what occurs when you get a tonne of casual fans who don't know how baseball off seasons and contracts work demanding a winner. I'm hoping this front office doesn't care about what fans want and just works to putting the best team on the field while strengthening our minor league system. I was scared that under AA we were going to be the Phillies 2.0.
  8. I was thinking about it after you posted it and I'd agree Dodgers, Cardinals, Cubs, Indians and then probably for me Houston rounding out my top 5.
  9. Light wash loose fit non raw denim jeans, knock off 20 style points.
  10. I have a lot of friends who really follow hockey, I follow enough to keep up in conversations. I get really annoyed when friends say things like "It doesn't matter how much you pay them 3 years from now if you win once!" in regards to baseball moves, when I suggest trades and signings in hockey that I think would be bad they lose their s*** because I don't understand hockey. How I wish they could see it from my perspective.
  11. I still view them bringing Smoak back as Colabello insurance. Colabello reverting to a sub 110 wRC+ bat probably becomes a negative value asset. Who knows some team in a rebuild might also like him.
  12. I still have major concerns with Colabello, terrible defensive numbers at first in a small sample (240 innings this year -5 DRS) and that .411 BABIP and 6.1% BB and 26.1% K just make me think he's a DFA candidate come May. I don't know if I'd want to pay Smoak 1.5M+ to ride the pine for a month when he has no versatility. Thole and Delabar should both be non-tendered and I don't know if I non-tender Saunders based on the upside he has if healthy and after missing a full season good chance you're not looking at a big raise in arb.
  13. Is that the highest salary ever given to a pitcher? I would not want to be paying that in 3-4 years.
  14. I honestly couldn't believe he got 13M over 2 years, but I think my mind thinks this offseason is still a few years back when a win was 6M.
  15. I do the same but also smoke a pipe, I'm like a 90 year old man.
  16. For a top10catcher that's an underpayment, need to add a Randall Delgado.
  17. How does that compare for a return when compared with the pieces San Diego gave to Atlanta last winter?
  18. I'm excited for Tellez. Even if he turns into an Adam Lind like platoon bat then that is a big win.
  19. As King said the Twins have already stated multiple times this offseason that they want Sano in the field and not being relegated to DHing at this point in time. I believe the general idea is it keeps him in better shape instead of turning into another fat DH.
  20. I can understand them moving Hicks with who they have in AA/AAA that look like they should be above average major leaguers but god damn do I dislike this trade. Mauer at C, Park at 1B, Sano at 3B and Plouffe DHing would've made a lot more sense.
  21. I'm thinking Pittsburgh and we will see Alvarez let go.
  22. I ended up muting the playoffs so I missed it, it improved my listening enjoyment.
  23. On reddit someone looked into it and in 2015 Kevin Pillar batted .278. In the first half he hit .278, in the second half be hit .278, against righties and lefties he hit .278
  24. I'm guessing it's related to the shoulder surgery he had in the spring.
  25. A lot of folks on MLB Radio (mainly Duqette and Ferrin) don't see many huge contracts this year because of the depth. They had Davis at something like 4 years and 85/M. I'd take Davis on somewhere around 20-22M/year. He's been good defensively the last two years and since 2012 he's had one bad season (94 wRC+) and 3 with 121 wRC+ or greater. A win is a win and if you get a 4 win player playing over Smoak or Colabello that's a pretty massive improvement.
