    Larger sample size makes sense in general, but if he's having reverse splits all of a sudden this year, then you have to go with the most recent trend until they prove otherwise.

    whatever happened to our other high pick, Matt Smoral? If I recall he should've went higher if it weren't for a broken foot.

    We don't have enough in the system to handle 2B and pitching. I'd rather improve the pitching. In order to afford both, we'd have to sacrifice MLB talent, which means Gose ends up going to the Mets + others

    Price obviously. We're dealing within the division. Tampa is still going to be a competitive team, I don't think they will be eyeing for a firesale. So I think they'll demand as much as possible from us.

    Darwin Barney? I haven't checked the #'s but if I recall he plays 2B just like how Francisco plays 3B.

    Kind of unfair to compare a MLB'er with good projection with a prospect with good projection. It's better to compare both players while drafted.

    Oh man that would hurt. We really don't have any other outstanding bat in the system, do we? I guess Barreto would be up top, but still. I also can't stomach giving up two of our best pitching prospects. I'd be comfortable with Sanchez and Pompey.

    I've always wanted McGuire to end up with the John Lackey comp. Nothing outstanding, but good at everything. But he turned out to be just like Ty Taubenheim. He still has a chance to be a productive player...

    I saw this tweet a few hours ago..apparently Harper is making his rehab in Class A ball and he's the 3rd youngest guy there. Man, isn't this his 3rd season? Crazy

    If Sanchez is a throw-in rather than a centerpiece..I wonder what they want as the centerpiece. There really isn't anyone else on the 25-man roster that would fit for the Rays except Lawrie/Stroman...
