  1. Utley has bad knees and won't last on this turf. Rollins is a SS and he's only played a grand total of 1 game at 2B, where I'd want him. Where would you put Reyes? Plus he's a franchise player who just got the most hits in Philly history. We'd be overpaying for him ;/
  2. Cole Hamels suddenly on a nice roll, putting up great numbers in the past 2 months. Hamels for Sanchez + Norris + ?
  3. Wow off the bat it looks like it's a double down the line. I wonder what the velocity off the bat the ball was at
  4. episode 9 is better than episode 10 I'd rather watch Brian Tallet pitch than experience episode 10 again
  5. Graphical standings as of yesterday: http://imgur.com/a/ApoCE
  6. On topic, apparently Norris may have got heavily scouted by the Cubs & Rays: http://www.torontosun.com/2014/06/15/blue-jays-could-use-a-power-arm-in-their-rotation "Lefty Daniel Norris made his 13th start for the class-A Dunedin Blue Jays on Thursday at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium before 809 fans and watchful eyes. Chaim Bloom, Tampa Bay’s director of baseball operations, and two Rays scouts were there, as were Cubs vice-president Tim Wilken, along with Blue Jays assistant general manager Andrew Tinnish, special assignment scout Russ Bove and pro cross-checker Dean Decillis. Norris, 21, pitched five scoreless innings against the Daytona Cubs, allowing three base-runners on one hit and two walks, while striking out three. Norris lowered his ERA to 1.22 and has walked 18 and struck out 76 in 66.1 innings. Now, the Rays and Cubs scouts could have been out for a drive and saw the lights and stopped for a hot dog, or they could have been checking out the Jays prospects. "
  7. Apparently the girls @ Christian colleges are something else too
  8. There was a time when people were pretty nervous facing him. Here is the nastiest pitch ever. Look at the velocity. http://cdn0.sbnation.com/imported_assets/705065/swishstrikeoutsonanasty.gif
  9. Then where will fatcow get all his 'thanksies'??
  10. The Orioles are the closest competition for the Jays. Their offense is extremely good and just like the Jays, it seems they have no outs (And they have plenty of power available). If the Orioles improve their pitching (And they can from within), they are a force.
  11. Bard's career has hit rock bottom: http://nesn.com/2014/06/daniel-bards-career-hits-rock-bottom-with-crazy-single-a-stat-line/ "Bard has faced 18 batters. He has issued nine walks and hit seven batters. In other words, hitters very rarely have had an opportunity to swing the bat. His two outs have come via a strikeout and a comebacker to the mound."
  12. He had a tweet about how the A's should have donated to some local Oakland charity instead of Jeter's charity. I mean if we really want to get anal, why does the Oakland charity deserve to have donations more so than charities where people live in 3rd world countries? It's a never ending argument
  13. ...or you can end up with a Drabek
  14. Overbay looks like a popstar
  15. Shame Tanaka will be pitching Tuesday. Even with the off day on Monday it would be nice to get deep in their pen.
  16. Never realized just how terrible McCann has been. And I admit I wanted him on our team.
  17. but I'm very sensitive
  18. Panic is postponed for today
  19. That was 4 years ago!!
