  1. Surprised Brad Miller is up there. Wasn't he recently converted into Ben Zobrist-type? Didn't expect for him to still have positive D.
  2. The Astros offense is not good to begin with. And their pitching is weak behind their top 2.
  3. I was a big believer of him earlier in the season (especially due to his hot second half of 2014) but yeah he's getting worse and worse. +500 OPS this month.
  4. "vetrin presents"
  5. The very Chili Davis that called Donaldson a stubborn hitter? http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/sunday-notes-winter-dealings-chili-on-donaldson-lincecum-uncoiling-umpire-aggression-much-more/
  6. Pierzynski's daughter?
  7. Yeah, to be fair that Atlanta/Dodger deal was put on/off But I don't see why Hamels would change his mind. Typically players who utilize their NTC ask for additional money or some other stipulation that benefits the player. Hamels has several more years on his contract so I don't know what he can ask. And he doesn't have to be limited to the Jays.
  8. Many articles had boston offense > Jays http://www.sportsonearth.com/article/108731352/mlb-lineups-best-in-2015-toronto-blue-jays-boston-red-sox
  9. Give it up with Hamels already. We already know that he wouldn't waive his NTC.
  10. Would you do Boyd for Papelbon? we got SP depth but Boyd can be a useful reliever.
  11. Day game today + no game tomorrow = depression for 36 hours.
  12. So I assume Bo Schultz would be expendable? Ryan Tepera would be next in line but jesus he threw 98 last night with good control. I thought he never went above 95.
  13. Don't expect Saunders to be anything close to his past performance. He's missing a chunk of his knee now. No more speed, no more defense, no more power.
  14. When do we next face the Yankees?
  15. I hate those slider show sites. I think bleacherreport uses that. The reason why they do sites like that is to generate as many pageviews as possible since pageviews = revenue. Typically if you ever want to circumvent this, just go to print preview and you can see everything (but for this site it doesn't work properly)
  16. not any internet. Google Fibre.
  17. Let's not forget the Cardinals are also in the top 3 in many positions. Missouri sweep.
  18. maybe we'll see relatively more production but his aggressiveness is still there. He swung at quite a few junk pitches yesterday.
  19. If there was a very low chance of him meeting those incentives he wouldn't have signed in. So I expect the incentives can be achieved reasonably unless he was utter s*** and/or injured.
  20. Ken Rosenthal ‏@Ken_Rosenthal 27s28 seconds ago Source: #Yankees signing Sergio Santos. edit: heading to AA
  21. Man that's a lot of money. I would have signed him for $4 million pro-rated. But that extra $4 million in incentives would hurt. I wonder if the Cubs are shaping up to probably deal him at the deadline too? Low risk, good reward, and the money is not an issue for them.
  22. it's pretty cool to see the similarities and differences between the Dodgers and Jays http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=bat&lg=all&qual=0&type=8&season=2015&month=0&season1=2015&ind=0&team=0,ts&players=0 Looking over the traditional stats you see the're the same. But look at how they generate their value. The Jays have superior base running while the Dodgers have superior defense (would have been better if we didn't run Italian dude in LF all the time)
